| IMO the B*stard should rot in jail for the rest of his life, Letting him keep $750,000 so that he can have a life when he gets out of prison...Bull, what about all those poor defenseless dogs that he killed. What kind of life did they have?? He should never be allowed back in the NFL!! Children look up to and respect so called "Sports Stars". The should look @ this creep and spit in his face!!! IMO...

| Sometimes when my little fuzz ball throws a toy at me or settle down on my lap to be petted, I think about the poor dogs that Vick abused - dogs that never went for a walk, never rode in a car, never played with a toy. All they did was suffer. Someone that cruel should be rotting in jail. |

| And parents have the responsibility to step in, explain to their children why what he did was wrong and instill morals in their children themselves instead of allowing their views to be sculpted by celebrities. You would be shocked...I'm sure there will be a team desperate enough to sign him on if they think he will win them games. (I've never been a big ATL Falcons fan...someone referesh my memory...was he really even that good when he was playing? I dunno.) In any case, if they choose to do so, that's their right...but I would certainly never support any team who signed him on. I would hope a lot of people would think that way too... |

| I think his NFL career is OVER. The team that would pick him up would get so much heat from the public it wouldn't be worth it to have him on the team. The purpose of winning games is so that you make more money selling merchandise and tickets. With Vick on the team they would lose money. Nobody in their right mind would walk around in a Vick jersey (I haven't seen any since the story broke) and people would stop going to the games. So I truly believe his career is DONE. |

| Last I read/heard was that he was having a hard time. One team out on the west coast briefly mentioned approaching him then quickly backed down. The Natl Geographic Channel's Dog Town recently had a segment on how they were trying to "rehab" the dogs from his "Kennel".

I actually feel sorry for him. People forget that in some areas of our country, and the world, that some practices are cultural and/or accepted behaviors. NOT that I agree with them - in NO way, shape, or form do I agree or condone any of this!!! But it is there and I hope that by being informed, passing along that information, and changing laws that will not tolerate this - that this will change... but until then - it is happening. We know that the Amish (and others) see dogs as a form of breeding stock - as others see cows and pigs. We know that some Asian countries eat dog. We know that some countries fight bulls, lions, and tigers for entertainment. We know that there are dog and cock fights. Anyway, you get my drift. I don't condone Vick's murder, abuse and plain disregard for those poor babies that he had - but I do believe he came from an area that looked differently at dog fighting than the rest of this country. We have seen this time and time again. Different areas of the country have different "cultures". I grew up and lived most of my life in the Midwest. Back there (usually in small towns/cities) bars are like a home away from home. People bring their families in, eat, and even celebrate birthdays & holidays together. The bars are sponsers for baseball, swim, and bowling teams etc. If my husband hung around a bar like that now - I'd probably say "you've got problems" but it's different back there. That is where they socialize. It's a different frame of mind. I was happy that he finally realized this (I know not at first) and that he decided to give up his dogs to get rehabbed & adopted out (at his expense) and is serving his time. You're right - he has lost ALOT - and he's also paying his dues by doing so. I hope he's gone to his God and asked to be forgiven and that we can at least give him a second chance. I think fame and alot of money bring alot of curses. I think a talented young man made some really bad choices and let some friends walk with him down the wrong road. I do think this is something that he can get help from and change. I hope he has. Connie & Kids
