I agree he's very connected, maybe because it was a quick suicide instead of an illness or accident he didn't connect with that person. It's good he's not seen bad things. |
About 10 days ago I was sitting facing the front window, just as I stood a 'figure' that appeared to be made of mist walked past the window, this is in broad daylight, I was too surprised to be scared. Years ago, shortly after my first yorkie was p.t.s. I would very often feel him jump onto my bed, rough up the blankets, turn around and lie down against the back of my legs just as he had in life. |
Do you live in an old house that could be holding a spirit or two? That's so sweet your pup still sleeps with you. |
I won't say I believe in ghosts per say but I do believe in Angels and demon's. Its really funny that I came across this thread. My father passed away a year and a half ago and I think about him often. Tonight being one of those nights I couldnt sleep so came to read YT and found this thread. I have a story about him, Several years ago he was helping my brother cut thorn bushes off his place and was out in the middle of nowhere by himself doing this and was about a mile from his car, when the knife he was using slipped and cut his wrist from the wrist clear to the elbow. He said he grabbed it and held it shut best he could to the road. When he got there he was faint and sat down when all of a sudden and Ambulance pulled up. He swore to the day he passed that a very large man dressed in all white saved his life by holding pressure on his arm all the way to the hospital. He kept asking who it was, wanting to thank the man. The odd thing was that the people in the ambulance were ALL dressed in blue uniforms. They came to talk to him and he insisted to them he wanted to talk to the other man. We all feel that this was an Angel that helped him as the doctor said he had lost so much blood that he had virtually no blood pressure by the time he got to the hospital. I truly believe God sends His angels to care for us. |
Yes we live in a fairly old house, about 60 years I think. I've lived here since I was about 18months old and growing up we would very often 'see' something in the one bedroom[ incidently its now my room]. We dont gey regular visitations like we did, probably because we all grew up and only I remain here, but I do sometimes get the sence of someone around, or a word whispered in my ear as I am trying to go to sleep. I also loved Rambo's visits which dont happen nearly as often. I was lucky enough to get to 'visit' my lost babies on the other side in a dream but got so upset on picking up my darling Myshkha and seeing Poppy running towards me I woke up before the other could join us. I know they are always around me and I believe they guided me towards my current two kids and even my cat. I could probably write for ages the number of weird things that happen hear and at work when I worked nights, but I'll save it for another time. |

I see two figures in the background.. A young man an looks to be an older gentleman. Was he close to his grandfather? he seems to be listening to the other ( friends) and telling them he is okay. It's okay an to not do what he had done. He was a little bit of a daredevil wasn't he? He was late for work an was going to fast. He said he was " stupid for doing it" He is doing fine an to " Keep on Keeping on" ?? He was a very nice young man.. Very funny an caring. |
In 2002, me, my best friend, my sister and another friend were on our way home from a church cook-out when our car was hit head on by a drunk driver. My best friend was killed instantly and the rest of us had very serious injuries. I was in the hospital and then rehab for about a month. After I got home I had a few weird things happen to me... I was in my bedroom cleaning and I had my stereo turned on. All of the sudden the volume started turning up louder and louder. The knob wasn't moving but the displayed numbers were going higher and higher. I ran over to it to turn it down. The stereo did have a remote so my first thought was that something had been sat on top of it for that maybe one of my dogs had stepped on it. I started looking for it and found it in my nightstand drawer and nothing was even touching it. Then on a separate night, I was laying in my bed watching TV with the remote in my hand. Out of nowhere the TV turned off. I thought it was strange but I assumed it was wiring or something so I just turned it back on. 30 seconds later, it turned off again... I turned it back on.... it turned off again... after the 3rd time I was a little freaked out and just to see what would happen, I said, "Okay, please stop" and it never did it again. I have no idea if either of these were related to her death and I am no electronics expert so maybe there is a logical explaination. I just thought it was strange that I had never had anything like that happen to me before and nothing else has ever happened since so who knows. |
I can see where you would connect those things to your friend. |
House built 1860, I have lived here 30 years, prior to me my aunt, probably 30 or 40 years, before that i have no idea , or do i know how to check, my aunt has passed away. The house has had many unexplained weird happenings but i have never seen any ghostly shapes, other then things missing often and then showing up in plain site sometimes weeks, months or even years later. Most events have all happened in the back room, which is a family room now but was told in the olden days it was a summer kitchen. Tv going on and off by its self, one night two of us were watching tv and a bottle tilted and started spinning around then plopped back in standing position and stopped, my yorkie will stand in the door way barking and staring running ahead then backing up, often, thought maybe he saw a mouse, god i hope not, but he does it alot , my maltese never does it, the weirdest of all was years ago at 3 am i was awoken to christmas tune, i new it was coming from below me in the back room, baby was asleep and hubby at work , i called him and he stayed on the phone with me as i headed down stairs, i looked down the hall and sdaw the santa under the tree light flickering , i was a santa that played music and his arm went up and down holding a lantern, as i headed down the hall and entered the room it turned off , i looked around the whole house checked doors, and no one was there, so hung up and went back to bed, next morning when my husband came home (he could hear the music through the phone from the bedroom, he didnt remeber it ever being that loud ) so he went to check the santa to see how it could have came on and how it was so loud, there were no batteries in the santa, we were both pretty freaked at that point. It never happened again. I have been awoken other times over the many years from a loud noise but layed and listened and nothing more. Christmas eve my family was all over and we wewre sitting in the dinning room and in the kitchen by itself the blender started up, this was unusual as most events always happened in the back room, other then things constantly missing and thats everywhere in the house. If i do have a ghost its a friendly ghost |
A few years back I was rewiring a house, the Lady in the house was a faith healer Now I have always been a sceptic of this, so you wont get me. The First day in the house, we had worked 16 hours gone home , slept, not eaten properly and gone back to finish job. On the second day, I had a severe headache(probably from the tiredeness) and asked the Lady if she had an aspirin for me. She said to me stand upright with your hands clasped in front of you and relax and close your eyes. Really relax I felt a warm glow into my neck, in an up and down movement, within seconds my headache had gone, my friend said she never touched me, I felt warm hands soothing my neck. I swear on my mothers life that she touched me and massaged me, yet she never touched me. She worked with her hands approx 4” away from my body. My friend did same and he experienced it. The Lady gave her services free to the local church, but unbeknown to me each healing, drained her so much. She had her own illnesses but gave her energy to help others. I will never be sceptical again, what I felt that day was real. What a beautifull Lady |
My 3 year old nephew used to always say "Daddy, there is a fire in the wall" and they were like...."okay...." after the 5th or 6th time he said this they had an electrician over to fix a broken outlet. They told SIL that the wires in the walls were days away from an electrical fire:eek: Nephew also used to see a tall man with a black hat that would play with him and get him in "trouble" for not going right to sleep in his room!! |

I just had something strange happen to me today. My dad owns a house at the end of our driveway that is pretty old and looks pretty shabby. He stores stuff in it and we call it his "junk" house. Anyway back when I was a little girl there was an elderly lady that lived there and she died when I was like 6 or 7 years old. There have been a few other people that lived in the house since then but they were young families and one elderly man. Anyway, my dad has had this house and stuff stored in it for at least 10 years. Today we were leaving and I stopped to check the mail at the end of the driveway like we have done a thousand times and all of a sudden my 5 year old said Mommy there was an old girl that lived in that house. I of course said yeah how did you know, expecting him to say that his papaw or mamaw one had told him that, and he said because I saw her. Kinda threw me for a sec so I said oh you did and he said yes she lived there before papaw had all his stuff in there. So I asked him what she looked like and he said sort of like Patsy which is my aunt that lives next to us. I said well did she talk to you and he said no, I said how did she look like Patsy and he said she had grey hair like her. I asked if he knew her name and he said no. I then asked him what she was doing and he said just laying there, she was just laying on the bed. Ok all of the rooms in this house is now just piled with stuff and no beds or furniture in them like they would have been before. He also told me she was wearing pajamas. I asked him how many times he had seen her and he said once. So I told him well I bet she was a nice lady and that if he saw her again to ask her what her name is and he said but I don't think she lives there anymore. I don't know, but he has never said anything like that before. I don't see how he could have made something like that up. |

In December the daughters of a friend of mine posted on Facebook like something was wrong. I asked them and got no response from one and the other said to ask the other sister. So I let it go, well I started having dreams/thinking about my friend ALOT one morning I even woke up thinking of her. We met in the 70's and were best friends till she passed away in 2005 from Ovarian cancer. Her ex-husband/the girls father passed away a few years before her. So in early January I asked again if all was ok that their mom was really on my mind alot. This time I got an answer, the youngest one (almost 19) is pregnant and their power has been shut off etc. I have been trying to help them from here which is several states away from them now. Since I found out and have been trying to help my friend hasn't really crossed my mind, guess I'm doing what she wanted me to. Update: She has seen a Dr and things are going well, and they have electricity again. |
When I was eleven my family and I were driving back from the movies (of course I'll never forget the movie now, 'What's Eating Gilbert Grape'... GREAT movie if you haven't seen it, by the way!) when my dad stopped at a gas station about three blocks from our apartment. My little brother, who was five at the time, climbed into the front seat to sit in my mom's lap while my dad was pumping gas. Normally I wouldn't have said anything (hello, I was eleven) but I got the worst feeling about it, and I told my mom that he should get back into his seat next to me and put his seatbelt back on. Of course she says, "It's fine, we're right down the street from our house." We pulled out of the gas station, and one block before the turn onto our street, a woman in a pickup truck makes a left hand turn and smashes into us (BTW, we didn't have much money at the time and we were in an 1980's two door Datsun). My force of the crash totaled the car, so much impact that my father bent the steering wheel to a 90 degree angle. The police officer said that he had never seen an accident so bad that didn't involve a fatality. We all walked away (minor cuts, bruises, and aches)... especially considering none of us had our seatbelts on. But that gut feeling was there... I knew before it happened. God was looking out for us that night. Another one I have (sorry so long!) was when I was on vacation in Maui with my parents my senior year. My brother and I had our own room. I woke up in the middle of the night with the worst feeling that there was someone else in our room... staring at us. I had been asleep on my stomach, and sure enough when I turned to look at the foot of my bed, there was a cloaked figure standing there. I'll never forget the feeling of absolute terror, of being so scared that I couldn't make a sound, although my mind was screaming for my mother. All I could do was turn back around, lay my head on my pillow and pray for sleep to come. Eventually I fell back asleep, and of course the next morning nothing was there... but I know something was. |
