ok so i dont no if u guys remember or not. We got Abby in march of 2008. My grandfather passed away in 2003 from cancer. Well to be honest, i have never been scared or visited by him (that i know of) besides the dreaming about him and stuff. He has never scared me n i thankkkkk him for that i wud surely pass out. Well in around the month of May or so Abby wud always go craazy at either midnite or 3am. It was so weird n it freaked me out. Like clockwork midnite wud come n we wud all b watching tv in the living room or my bedroom. She wud runnnnn barkingggg loud n stare at something in the corner of the kitchen ceiling. This freaked me out bad cuz a lot of the times i wud b sleeping n she wud run again like crazy at 3am n bark at the ceiling. One day i decided to take her to the cemetary to officially meet my grandfather. Well they were introduced to each other and i swear she never did it again. Till this day. We have Jack too n nothing happens. I still have to introduce him to my grandpa. WEIRDDD N SPOOOKY |

My friends and family insist that I'm psychic but I have never been able to use it for good LOL. Like if I was trying to predict something it wouldn't happen. However things pop out of my mouth when I'm not thinking about it. Once, after my best friend told him about me, a guy decided to test me and asked me his girlfriend's name. I immediately said "Joan." Her name is, in fact, Jean but it convinced him. Another time I was passing a coworker in the hall after work and immediately after he said "goodnight" I blurted out "cowboy hat." I had no idea why I said it but he stopped dead in his tracks and asked me why said it. I told him that I had no idea it just came out of my mouth without me thinking about it. He then told me that he was thinking about the cowboy hat he was going to go buy after work. I really spooked him. LOL. Someone once asked me how my father was and I answered that he was doing fine and that he had just gotten a raise. Right after I said that I wondered why - I even felt guilty for lying to the person. So of course the next time I talked to my mother she told me about my dad's raise. I could go on but these are minor not so interesting things I guess. My dreams are the real kicker in my life. I ALWAYS tell people when I dream about them because they often come true and I've learned that if I tell them after the fact they don't believe me. Sometimes the dreams are cryptic. When my oldest son was a baby I dreamed I saw him in a coffin. I was terrible shaken by the dream but even more so when I found out that an old friends baby had been killed in a car accident. Our sons were both named Tony and they were born one day apart. I had never seen him so I guess my mind showed me the closest thing it could come up with. Too bad I didn't understand it before the accident. I can tell y'all more if ya want! LOL I live in a haunted house too. |

Hubby and I went to a company Christmas party at his bosses house one year. When we got there I was introduced to his boss and the bosses wife. We then mingled with other guests and saw the boss and his wife several times talking to others. Then I got a jolt when one time I looked at his boss and he was dressed like everyone else. Up till that time whenever I looked at him I saw him dressed as a priest, and that didn't seem odd to me at all. I never figured that one out and it's not like I could ask. |

I am sooo loving this thread! When I was younger I was obsesses with Unsolved Mysteries and the ghost stories and weird happenings. I love this stuff! |
Well....a lot of times, I know things will happen before they do. Not all the time, of course, but it happens a lot. Like once, I told my "DH" that our daughter was getting ready to call, and as soon as I said that, she called. Sometimes, I will feel "strange", like something is happening to my daughter...so when she gets home, I will ask how she felt today, and sometimes, she will have been sick or got hurt or angry. I think I know these things about my daughter because we are so close....but I know things sometimes about other people or happenings too. I sometimes have "dreams/thoughts" where I see things and they happen too. Like once, I dreamed I was cleaning the basement and found money...well, so I of course got on the ball and started cleaning the basement and found $40 in a birthday card! And another....I dreamed that a tree fall across our hiking/4wheeler trial when DD was on the trial...so we wouldn't let her go down there for a long time....two days later a big Oak tree had fallen across the trial where she always goes. I have a lot of those "experiences"..... A recent weird thing.....before the divorce started....and I didn't have a clue that anything bad was happening....but my ring finger swelled up soooo bad...I mean it was HUGE and purple. I had to wake "DH" up late that night and he had to cut my wedding rings off....I had that sickening feeling that those rings shouldn't be broken....and then two weeks later, found out about the cheating and divorce, etc. Too bad I didn't see that coming! I've never really trusted my horoscope either, until recently......they have been spot on for about 2 months now! I mean, scary spot on!!! I use to be REALLY close to my "DH", I mean, I have been with him for a long time...but I use to creep him out because I would often times know what he was thinking or going to say or ask for before he even said it. I also remember a few months ago telling my "DH" that we needed to go to the doctor because one of us was probably diabetic. Well, he wasn't and I wasn't...but my blood sugar was out of whack and I have had to stay away from sugar...which was a good thing because I have lost weight. I get that strange feeling of dejavu a lot....even if I KNOW I have never been some place, I can sometimes go there and know exactly where things are or how to get there...like I can see/remember going there, the road, sites, etc. |

My dh has gotten so use to it he will start sentences midway between a though and expect me to know what he is talking about. LOL funny thing is I usually do. I would blame it on 26 years of marriage but it has been that way all along. I'm that way with my two sons also. I went with dh to his place of work on a Saturday and he was showing me around. When we got to the locker room he said "OK Ms Psychic, which locker is mine?" Like I said before I usually can't do "psychic" on command but I walked by each locker and sense a difference in one of them so I said that I felt it was this one. I was right. I think that is the day he really started believing in my sixth sense. LOL. |

Whats funny is---I always seem to have an element of doubt when someone tells me their so-called prediction.....or I have a vision, dream or feeling something is going to happen. I dont know why I have doubts. Maybe its because society isnt always accepting of gut instinct. Thats just awful about the friend of your family...i hope the guy who killed her was caught and brought to justice. |

We have lived in the same house with the same neighbors behind us for 16 years. I called to the husband to get his attention about a tree on the property line. A couple days later his wife was out and I talked to her about an update on the removal, and she kept referring to her husband as Tom. At first I thought I was confused and she was talking about someone else. So I finally asked her, is your husbands name Tom, I called him Joe. She said yes her husbands name was Tom, he had a brother named Joe. I said oh, maybe I met him in the past and that's where I got confused. She said no, you've never met Joe and never will. I don't know what she meant by that, I guess he was to kind to correct me when I called him by his brother's name. I had referred to him as Joe a few times, why I don't know. But boy was I caught off guard and kinda felt weird about the whole thing. |
I have a twin sister. She had a baby years ago and he was almost a year old. One night, I was asleep and had a dream that Justin (the baby) was going to die. I woke up sweating and shaking. It was 4:20 am and at that moment, the phone rang. It was my twin sister telling me that something was wrong with Justin. I told her to get him to the ER right now. She assured me that he was ok but acting kinda strange. I told her that I just had a dream of Justin passing away. I met her at the ER and he indeed died a few hours later. I also dream of things and most of my dreams come true. My dad quit smoking for a while and my mom and dad went to FL. for a couple of months. I called my mom and said mom, dad is smoking again. She said what makes you think that? I told her that I had a dream. She admitted that he was smoking again. I also will sing songs in my car and then while I'm singing them I turn on the radio and that song will be on at the same place in the song that I just sung. This is a little different, but when my twin sister was pregnant, I too had morning sickness. Same goes for her when I was pregnant. |

Yesterday was funny though. I called my husband and my sisters and said I took a trip to england, made new friends who had monkeys that looked like curious george and a grass man. I felt like I was on another planet. LOL |
When growing up I had a aunt that always told me when she passed away she hoped to come back as a dog. She passed away from cancer and was cremated and taken to Wytheville, Virginia where she wanted he ashes spread on my grandfathers grave. After the service the family was standing in front of the church and I looked over to my grandfathers grave and there sitting in the middle of his grave was a Jack Russell Terrier looking over at us. :2omg: |
My first husband's aunt bought her father a tie for Christmas and then dreamed that he died and was wearing that tie in the coffin. She couldn't give it to him after that and ended up throwing it away. But Grandpa died shortly after Christmas and sure enough he was wearing a tie just like the one she had purchased. She was so shook up! |
We rescued a terribly abused rough collie a few years back and I really think he hung around after he died. He loved us so much! He used to brush past me and I would feel his fur on the back of my legs. After he died, every once in a while while I would be standing at the sink doing dishes and I would feel him brushing against me in that way. It was strong enough that I would automatically look down. If I took a nap on the couch and he wanted my attention he would stand there staring at me. Well of course I could feel it and would wake up. Frequently after he died I would wake up expecting to see his face right in front of me. We rescued him after he had been beaten by his owner causing a severe head injury. This caused him to have a seizure disorder. Well one day he walked up to me and just stood there staring. I stared back and really looked deeply into his eyes. I swear I heard thunder. Then I just knew that he was telling me what happens before he has a seizure. He was terribly afraid of thunder and after that I knew why. I swear...this is the last story about him: When he started going deaf I started teaching him sign language and started flipping the porch light on and off when I was calling him to come in from outside. It got to the point though that there were several commands that he followed just by my thinking them. Not all of it can be explained by his reading my body language. He was a great dog. We only had him for a couple of years before he went into kidney failure and we had to put him down. But anyone who has owned a collie understands the mental picture I carry with me. In this picture he is standing in the back yard, he is freshly brushed and has a big ol collie grin on his face! |

My sons GF's SIL Jolene died on August 18, while watching American Idol on March 18, the girl sang "Jolene" by Dolly Parton, 7 months to the date she died. Also while my daughter was driving home from college 2 weeks after Jolene died the song "Jolene" played on Z100 which plays the top 100 hits of the week. The song "Jolene" was from the 70's. I told her it was just Jolene letting her know she was there. Afew other things have happened to her over the years. Just weird. |

Bummer I was hoping for some new stuff to read. :-( |
hmm not much unexplained really happens to me, just once in a while. The latest thing was that i dreamt Sophie had died and 3 days later she really did pass away. After dreaming that nightmare i was scared at first but diregarded it cause usually none of my dreams really come true but that one did sadly. Then there's been little things here and there. We had a cavalier king charles that we had to put to sleep when i was like 17. His back legs used to drag, cause he had a genetic hip problem. Well one night i was half asleep and i could have sworn i heard him walking towards my room, his feet dragging. Also my mom said she heard him a few times too and when Sophie was here she would growl at things we couldn't see. That's about all i can think of right now.. |
Do any of you remember my posts about the house we bought in October? http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/off-topic-discussions/148421-ghost.html Then I later posted that I really do think it is haunted. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/off-topic-discussions/150017-i-think-ghost.html Well, Adie has started up her 3AM growling again and every once in a while I am still getting orbs in photos. I have a bunch of shots that my dil look of dh and our 4 furbutts. THere is a series of them because one or all of them would move around and the shot would be spoiled. In each shot more and more orbs appear. It is like we attracted attention. I will try to post them if time allows me to resize all of them. |
LOL, The last time I talked to dh he said "darn it! How do you know when I get home? You keep calling me right after I walk in." He absolutely hates the idea that the supernatural has any influence in our lives.:D |
2 Attachment(s) Here is the second and last one. The first and third are realy too dark to post. AND I am skinnier than I was in these. |
Things come to me in my dreams and it scares the hell out of me to the point where I have trouble sleeping most nights. I have had tons of dreams that actually came true but this is one I will never forget. When I was seventeen I dream of my brother's death. He was living in NC at the time and was suppose to be relocating to NJ. I remember asking my mother everyday what day he was suppose to arrive and she said she wasn't sure that she had been trying to contact him and was unsuccessful, she even called family members and some of his friends and everyone said that they had not seen or heard from him. On the night of March 22 into the 23, 2000 I had a crazy dream, my brother told me he was about to be murdered by two guys he had met recently who were new to the state. He was about to tell me their names and all of a sudden I jump up out of my sleep. I felt uneasy that whole day and the days that followed. Meanwhile, my family did everything they could to locate him which included calling hospitals and police stations. Three weeks had past and still nothing. One night I was baby sitting two of my nieces and the doorbell and phone rung at the same time. I picked up the phone and one of my cousins said open the door, you could hear that something was wrong in his voice and I tried to asked if everything was OK but he kept saying open the door. I went to open the door and his mother was standing there and she was crying and I said to her don't tell me, James is dead isn't he. She look at me like I had two heads and said who told and I said no one I just know. It turns out that on March 22-23, 2000 the same night as my dream, my brother James was murdered (tortured to death) and his body was thrown in some brushes on the highway. It was one of the worst things to ever happen in that town in NC. Thankfully, his murders were caught about two weeks later as they were trying to flee the state. One of my brother's close friends had witnessed the entire thing, he was actually forced to watch at gun point and told that if he went to police the same thing would happen to him. After three weeks of silence he could not hold it in any longer and he went to the sheriff department... with him as the eyewitness and the evidence linked to the crime the two guys were convicted and is currently serving serious time in prison. |
