Exactly! We can have yorkies but she can't! It sucks for yorkies when any famous person is photographed with one.

if this wasnt her what third dog that you see her with it might be different...u see the photos of them as babies but then where do they go?

Well I know plenty of people on here with more than 3 dogs.

Maybe she just doesn't want to take them out when they're older. I've only *ever* seen her with pictures of a yorkie twice or so, and both times they were puppies. for all *I* know, she was taking them home from the vet or something.

yes lots of ppl have more than three dogs but they arent all 16 yr olds with music/acting careers... at 16 there is no way i could have taken care of three dogs much less balanced it with being such a public figure as her...im sorry but I just cant see her taking these dogs a serious responsiblity

She has the option that Paris has with her dogs, and other celebs have with their pets, and sometimes children, they can hire someone else to take care of them when they are too busy working (legit reason) or are just too spoiled and irresponsible to be bothered... Wonder where Miley falls...?

She does also have a mother, a father, and 3 or 4 siblings. When I got my old lab Rusty, I paid for him myself and got him to be my dog. But he was of course the family's pet. Just because Miley has the money to get herself a dog doesn't mean all of the responsibility to care for him will fall on her.

All I'm saying is that people are so quick to judge celebrities. They are still human and I am sure that she loves her dogs.

hummm isnt that what parents are for? Im sure she's not solely responsible for a dog. She and her family have plenty of money to afford the care for. I dont think the dog would be lacking in anything.

Also, just because the media calls the yorkie a fashion accessory-doesnt mean she thinks of her dog as one.

I'd be more worried about Jon & Kate plus 8 having dogs...too many kids to trample over them. Kate is too much of a clean freak to allow the dogs to spend quality time inside so you know those dogs are outside 99.9% of the time..

I could be wrong but I thought the original point was that when a popular famous person, especially one who appeals to girls or young women, gets a yorkie, in this case Miley, some people worry that there will be a backlash. That's pretty reasonable IMO. Some girls will now want one because 'yorkies are a trendy accessory'. Yorkies and chihuahuas are already suffering from this mentality. Of course Miley has every right to have one and why wouldn't she? They're awesome.

Nikkie, I agree with you. There probably will be backlash and little girls wanting yorkies. I just had a problem when I saw people starting to insult Miley just because she was able to get a dog.

oh i wasnt trying to imply that i didnt like that she was able to get a dog...i just worry about the dogs welfare because she seems to have a new one every so often and while yes her famil maybe able to take care of them, id hope she understands its a living breathing creature,not to be replaced like an accessory...get what im saying?lol

I totally understand where you're coming from. I think many of us, if we had her money to take care of them, and ability to hire top notch help, would have waaaay too many dogs. I have no idea how many dogs she has, just saying I wouldn't blame her. I wish all of the celebrities would stay away from the little dogs since they are easily viewed as accessories by uneducated little girls but since I have three myself, I can't really blame them.

ETA: I meant I have 3 little dogs, not 3 accessories.
