you know, when i got married, i had the theme song from the godfather, i forget it, anyway i regret the fact that i never had the song daddies little girl.. till this day... i knew my dad was upset i didnt have it, but at the time i didnt feel like his little girl.. i can kick myself where the sun dont shine for doing that to him... i will never forget the look on his face. |

When my daughter gets married she'll have to pick 2 songs, one for her daddy and one for her "father", my DH, who has been the main male presence in her life. I love the Steven Curtis Chapman song! Bless him and his family! My dad and I danced to "My Girl," because thats been one of my favorite's since I was very young. I love Tim McGraw's "My Little Girl" though. If my Papaw had been alive for my wedding, we would've danced to that song.
