Who ARE these people???? (Izzy-Belle update) As some of you know/remember I adopted a little scruffy chi a while back named Izzy-Belle. After a while, Izzy was adopted by my parents and they are all crazy about each other. I went to visit because my mom had some minor surgery and needed help for a couple days. All I can say is, I don't know who these people are, but they are NOT the parents I grew up with. Here is a list of things I witnessed while I was there: 1) My dad came home from work and exclaimed "There's my girl!" - I was disappointed when I realized he was talking to Izzy-Belle and not me. Izzy ran and jumped in his arms while he continued saying things like, "How's papa's punkin' wunkin'? Did you have a good day? I brought my baby girl a surprise. Yes, I did!" (I wanted to gag. Even I do not use baby talk names like punkin' wunkin') The "surprise" leads us to... 2) Izzy-Belle got yogurt (Yoplait, not Dannon because she "doesn't like that yucky Dannon stuff"). Well, Izzy's good dish was in the dishwasher and let me tell ya'll, the world freakin' STOPPED while my parents panicked trying to figure out what to do....because heaven forbid her majesty have to eat out of something other than her special bowl. 3) My mom decided she would just spoon feed her. Now, I honestly can't say anything about this because the Poopanut still eats her breakfast out of her special pink spoon. I am only shocked that my parents are feeding Izzy this way because they made fun of me forever for doing it to S'anah. The rest of it was just Izzy herself. Now granted, she had turned into a little diva before she ever left me, but it is just beyond ridiculous now. Never in my life have I seen a dog with such a sense of ENTITLEMENT. That is really saying something because ya'll know my little terrors are rotten to the core. And there you have an update on one rotten little girl. :p |
too funny...shes a true princess in every sense of the word! |
What a sweet story!!! I know my kids all think my husband and i are nuts too!! Im glad that Izzy has such a wonderful life!!:D |
LOL Do we have a jealous big sister in this picture:p |
My hubby is the exact same way with our toy poodle, she gets a kiss and baby talked too before I even get a hello when he comes home from work, granted Im not standing at the door wagging my little tail off and ready to lick his face. She is his "little princess" and can do no wrong. This coming from some one who didnt like little dogs in the first place. Im glad that she is in the perfect home. :) |
That made me smile... I'm glad Izzy is living the life of luxury with your parents and being spoilt. She deserves it after the rough start she had before coming to you. :) |
That is so sweeeet!! Lucky puppy and lots of praise to you for finding her the perfect parents to cater to her majesty! :D |
I love these happy endings! That story made me smile and I'm so glad that little girl is getting spoiled rotten!!! |
YEP...I think big Sis has been attacked by the Green Eyed Monster!!!:p Way to go IZZIE!!!! |

I know it might be rude, but remarks like that from my skin kids results in a  roll of the eyes  and a "whatever" from mom! I am so happy that little Izzy-Belle is living the live that she so rightly deserves. You were wonderful to take her in and then allow your parents to spoil her. |

My two adult sons who are living at home are J E A L O U S of their furbrothers and fursisters. You won't believe how many times I've heard - you would have whipped my butt if I'd done that :D :D :D I know it might be rude, but remarks like that from my skin kids results in a  roll of the eyes  and a "whatever" from mom! That was such a sweet update. I am glad little Izzy-Belle is bringing such pleasure to your parents. I bet she will add many wonderful years to their life.:) |
awww thats so nice hear! Im glad Izzy is being spoiled rotten!!! :) |
My husbands mom is the same way! Sometimes we really do think she likes her dog more than her kids  She takes her through the drivethu and buy the dog her own burger, if she orders take out, she buy her own meal, she takes her anywhere and everywhere with her, and spoils her rotten. She always calls her my husbands "sister" when we are there too. She's never been a dog person and we were shocked when she got this little maltipoo a couple of years ago. That dog RULES the house and no one can touch her babies or any of the goodies she has burried in couch cushions and corners. |
