Yeah I know where the start menu is but mine doesn't have 'run'. I figured out that since I had a search field showing to just use that. I'm so happy it's back to normal!:D Still have the darn Yahoo thing though so now I'm after it.

Glad you got it to work! I wonder what it has instead of the word run. This is what you use when you put a disc in.

I never use my run button, I found a way to do things without ever using it, but my hubby uses it all the time. There is a way to restore the run button. Here's a link. Troubleshooting Windows XP, Tweaks and Fixes for Windows XP, and it's #57 on this page, I think you just click on 57, and run the program it gives you. I have Vista so maybe that's why it's not there.

This is an answer I found, " Simply go to accessories and you'll find it there. They simply decided to remove it from the start button."

Good thing you didn't download from that link I gave, I saw you had media center, and thought that meant you had windows XP. :D

That is so bad, but so ****funny, I have tears in my eyes, I just couldn't help it and had to laugh. This is being linked to my grown sons, I know they will love it!

I know, I died laughing too. I sent it to my husband who is in the electronics industry. I always tease him by saying; would you people stop trying to make everything faster and better and just make the stuff we have work?

I usually run to him with every little computer issue so I'm proud of myself for actually doing it myself this time.:D

That site is hilarious; I've never seen it before, I just watched the one titled, Are Reality Shows Setting Unrealistic Standards For Skanks? That sounds like a perfect topic to discuss in Off Topics! :D

For future reference, this site is DA BOMB! They helped me so much when I had trouble after installing more memory and a 3d graphics card. I had to go there on my Iphone, thank God for that thing or I'd have had to go to the library several times:laugh:
