Aunt Jodi blogged that she is not on the show anymore because the producers wanted to pay her, since she was a regular on the show. Kate flipped out and said that no one was going to make money off of her kids. So that is why she is not a part of it anymore. Very sad.

Yep, I saw that too. Just one more thing that makes Kate look bad.

OMG....but doesnt the nanny make money off of helping with the kids??

Maybe Kate is afraid of someone appearing to be "nicer" than her or stealing her thunder?

Exactly. I read that Kate feels that Jodi makes her look bad :confused::confused:. As much as I love the show (and I do feel that Kate is a good Mom) I think that the way she treats Jon is what makes her look bad...

I read on a blog right after the news broke about Jon and the college girls that the show should be Jon Plus Eight Minus Kate :lol tears. I don't think the blogger liked her very much either. :bravo:

HAHAHAHA thats funny.

Maybe Kate should go to counseling and learn how to stop being a control freak...stop freaking out over little stuff.....and learn now to respect her spouse. I do feel so sorry for the way she treats him and puts him down for the whole world to see. You can see it in his face when she does that and you can tell he is aggravated, but he keeps his mouth shut and minds his wifey..

To each his own i guess.

Well, according to Kate this last episode, the nanny has "chosen to remain unseen" but if she were actually shown on the clips, TLC would want to pay her. Now I'm sure Kate pays her as the nanny but she doesn't receive anything from TLC because she's not shown. I doubt that decision was her's alone. Kate probably told her that she would be "behind the camera" only.

Yeah I used to love this show but I have read so much about them and grown to really hate Kate and the whole show!!! She is not a good person at all. She is such an ungrateful person! I hope they end the show. I also feel so bad for Jon and how she treats him. Uggggg :thumbdown

I've already agreed above that she is a big problem but what is sad is seeing how withdrawn Cara has become. Mady throws fits and Cara just crawls into her shell. Very sad. This could be why so much of this season has been shot while the older ones are at school. And also could be why Cara was singled out at the Harlem Globetrotters thing and taken out on the court. She needed that positive attention.

I've heard Kate say she wants as normal of a life that she can provide, but none of it is "normal"....After reading what everyone has said that the whole family would be better off without the t.v. show.

Its not worth risking your family's emotional well-being.

also...maybe Dr. Phil could help them. That would be one freebie they should jump on.

Oh wait, Kate doesnt want anyone making any money off of her family, but Dr. Phil would clean up on that episode haha.

I sure do think he could help Maddy and Cara, PLUS open Kates eyes to how she treats people.

I used to watch and love the show but lately i haven't seen any of the episodes. Kate is really annoying now and a huge bit**. I feel bad for the kids a lot of times, a lot of their issues with the way they act is because of the show and they each don't get enough attention. I believe Kate has favorites

I haven't watched any of it for over half a year now, but before that, they were doing rerun marathons and I did catch quite a few episodes. I had thought I enjoyed it and wanted to support the show. They seemed like good parents. Now I'm thinking it's a good thing I haven't gotten around to purchasing their video direct from the site of the network broadcasting it over here.

I never knew about all that behind the scenes stuff. :eek:

And just by reading half the posts here, I'm already feeling really bad for Cara. Okay, this is enough for me to lose all interest in the show from this day forward.
