Dog set on fire while giving birth
 
This was earlier this year but I just ran across the story. I have yet to search for an update, but if someone else does please post the information. I just don't know what is becoming of people these days-it is both sad and sick. :eek: :mad:

I can't read the article today, the title is enough for now...I just don't have the right words to express what I feel about a person who would do this...too much filth would come out of my mouth. :(

I don't believe I ever said otherwise...:confused: It just seemed very "typical" of what I've encountered with many incidents regarding Pits.
It would be a hard thing for anyone to deal with. It was a horrible act done by some deranged crackhead! :mad:

This really makes me sick to my stomach. I don't understand why charges have not been pressed. There is too much curuelty in this world.

I couldn't even read it. I started reading it out loud to my bf and he got mad, and said "please don't read this to me right now", and I closed the page. Really horrible people out there, it's VERY difficult to hear things like that! Unfortunately, it's reality, and there REALLY are people like that out there. So scary....

How could anyone in their wildest thoughts think to do something so sick to an innocent animal. I don't care what it is or who the heck owns it. There are no words to express my sorrow for that poor dog and her babies.

I feel so sad for that man! That was his baby...and the fact that he had witnesses and the police still wouldn't arrest the girl! He's a better person than I am...I wouldn't need the cops if it were my baby!

I hope the petition was more than just a piece of paper to those cops...that is serious! They probably disregarded it just like they did the case...some people in this world! One of the people left a comment on the petition that said something about the next person she goes after could be someone's pregnant wife...and that's true. To these cops, it's not a big deal...but to that man, that little dog might have been the only thing he had...

Regardless of how intelligent, the man was, I agree, his dog was just
set on fire. As a lady watched it burn. The article was kinda
confusing though? "She sent her friend to get gasoline to kill my dog to hurt my brother." I didn't get that part?

the girlfriend sent her friend to get gasoline so the she(crazy gf) could set the dog on fire....crazy gf thought it was her boyfriends dog when in fact it was not,she was trying to get back at the dog owners brother who was her bf...haha think i got it,i could be wrong tho...

The really sad thing is that this man probably is not going to see any justice for his loss precisely because he is probably poor and not well educated. His complaint probably doesn't carry as much weight with the police as one filed by somebody more "respectable" (or richer). It's a sad commentary on the state of justice in this country, not just a sad commentary on how people treat animals.

You can read about him in yesterdays posts..called Harley's story. He's 3-legged rescue. His smile makes me laugh everyday. Thats why I use it in everything I do...just to make other people smile. :)
