Ugh. I'm watching Dr. Phil right now and I want to vomit.

I'm living in a house that's over a hundred years old because I can't work due to immigration and we needed a cheap place to live. We're living on my husband's income, trying to pay the astronomical heating bills because heat just leaks outta this place, fighting random bugs - lotsa ants - which thrills the cat, but not us lol...

This woman goes out... gets pregnant (knowing FULL WELL she could have 6 or more babies)... has EIGHT kids with already six at home - her mother is paying the rent, she's on food stamps and owes thousands of dollars in student loans.. ISN'T working... doesn't care to have a mate to help... and she gets a house which she managed to buy due to 'opportunities' that she's been offered - vague, no? - gets all this care for her kids that she shouldn't have had... and someone like myself can't even work to help pay the bills since I could be fined and deported if someone finds out. I don't have kids, I don't cause any social problems, I've never been arrested, I can't even go to school here because I can't get a student loan from here because I have no rights, and I can't get a loan from Canada to attend any school here. (I can't even volunteer at the dog shelter because if I get hurt I wouldn't be able to pay any bills...)

Argh. This pisses me off.
Sure, she has to deal with 14 kids for the rest of her life, fair enough. I wouldn't want to be her, but way to reward bad behaviour, Dr. Phil (and the rest of them.) Maybe I should go out and do something outrageously irresponsible and make sure the news knows so I can get some 'opportunities' in order to buy myself and my husband a new house.

I knew this would happen, I think the kids would be better off adopted out to people that want children that can't have them, this woman is nuts, did anyone see the 2 pair of scirrors( not spelled right) on her couch? All her kids seem to be indanger

I've been following the story on Dr. Phil, and the only ones I'm sorry for is those babies. I don't mean to be mean, but I don't think she's right in her mind. I think the babies would be so much better if they were put up for adoption. This house they would get loving parents, and I could life.

I'm with you! Even with all the nursing care, and even if she had all kinds of money how could 1 person take care of 14 children:eek: And let the Dr. pay the hospital bill as he seames to think it was ok to give her that many children even after her mother said no to him.

I was just thinking you know, JUST WAIT in a few years, when the babies are toddlers and all the novelty dies down,the lights of Dr. Phil's show shuts down, and finds a better newer story... HOW in the WORLD this woman is going to control 14 kids and 10 of them BOYS... not for nothing but I have 2 boys and is NOT easy being a parent to 2 boys 8 years appart and one daughter in between, forget 14.. I guess is not hockey, football, t ball, figure skating, computer lab, YMCA for this kids:mad::mad::mad: I did all that for my children and I am satisfied I provided the best parenting I could. How can she do that with 14?... Am I missing something or this Horrible woman is NUTS.. did you hear what she said, she wants to act like a NUN...:eek:

I think that she is a sociopath and is playing the american public and dr. phil. She is saying what she thinks everyone wants to hear. At one point she said that she didn't have a good childhood, now on the show she said that she had a warm loving one. She said that she would not exploit her kids with a reality show, then said maybe one day. And someone wrote that she finally admitted to cosmetic surgery. You cannot trust anything out of her mouth. I think that she should be made to pay back all of disability payments as well as food stamps and her student loans. I can barely afford my own bills I don't need to take on someone elses, especially someone who is so irresponsible and selfish.

I don't think that I will be watching much of Dr. Phil from now on. Yes, the situation has happened, but how can you expect people who are losing what they have worked so hard for, those who cannot afford to feed their own kids, losing their jobs and retirement plans to feel about this? Not right and not fair at all.

Your situation sounded so much like the situation I had when I first came to Canada. It was one of the hardest time I have ever gone through in my life on top of the loneliness I had to endure when I first came here. I feel so much for you and I hope it will get better in time for you.

argh! I get mad everytime i turn on the tv and it is all about octo mom this and octo mom that. I think this is disgusting. She can't even take care of her current kids now to add 8 more on top of that..totally disgusting.

It would have been nice of Dr. Phil to actually practice what he preaches ...YOU DO NOT REWARD BAD BEHAVIOR !! I guess he chose his ratings over his beliefs.

She IS mentally unstable . She changes her story as need be for financial gain and everyone just overlooks her behavior because of the children. They need to stop doing that ! She needs her behavior looked and the kids need to be removed from her care until she can prove she is mentally and physically ( let us not forget she is disabled:rolleyes:) able to care for her 14 children. I feel so sorry for her children. If they are left in her care I fear for them , truly.

It makes me so angry to think that her irresponsibility is rewarded ten fold when so many hard working responsible people are on the verge of losing everything .

Ok is it JUST ME.. Now I KNOW for a FACT the costs IVF (been there and was like :eek: .. and if your living with your MOTHER...(HELLLLLOOOOOO and you have ALLLLLL this $$ to do IVF cant you help YOUR OWN MOTHER OUT!!! Dam your living under her roof with your kids and you had the nerve to have MORE and you cant even live on your own? Oh my momma would of BEAT the hell out of me!! Ok let me stop because this is one subject that along with all the OTHER BS we have going on in this world we have just one more idiot trying to make a FAST BUCK off of babies!!

I hate seeing her stroll around in $200+ designer sunglasses, shirts and shoes.... Makes me sick as she pretends to be a star and gets paid for it. She should be putting the money toward her children, not her wannabe lifestyle, grrrrrr
