Just saw you got the money back. Good deal! | That's actually really good advice. I got a receipt which had everything on it, and the date and time. I just wrote down the guys name. I called customer service number that's on their website and that is exactly what they asked me for! The receipt had most of the critical information gas station #, address, etc.
Apparently, the number I called is for the parent company of the 76 gas station, Conoco Phillips. They wrote me an appology letter in which they appologized for what happened and said that they really have no control on how the gas station is run. But, they have gotten in contact with the correct people and the station will be "counselled" on how to interact with customers. :p
Good learning experience for me, I'm usually to shy to speak up in these kinds of situations. At least now I know that it's ok to speak up. :) |
