well I tell you.. I am not sure if I am in the right place at the right time or the or what.
Friday I came up on a female Aussie Shepard that had been hit by a car on a 2 lane hwy in the middle of no place. I stopped. to see if I could help her and was waiting for more help when I heard a yipping and whining from further away.
I left the female for a minute to go check out the noise and low and behold I found to pups! Yep she had Puppies and they were up in the tree line in a makeshift den worried about mama. So I packed the puppies up and got them in my car... and the waited till the sheriff patrol got there to help with mama.
we got mama in the car
and she is now at the NHS Dr and I hope she"ll be ok. And I am now Fostering 2 Aussie pups!!!! LOL I am beat. but having fun too
so if there is any one who can give a Great forever home to one of these guys Let me know..
I will be really screening people for them. they are about 9 or 10 weeks old. fully weaned and supper friendly...

Wow! How lucky those pups and mama dog are to have a special person like you stop and take care of them! That is great, and how cute are they. :)

WOW Lori, you were in the right place at the right time! I'm so glad you came across them! Let us know how the mommy is doing, and I will keep an ear out for anyone that might want an aussie pup! Thank you SO much for helping these little critters out :)

I tend to find dogs all the time.. I now volunteer for the border collie rescue because of finding one of them last month..

God bless you. Most people would have just kept driving. The babies are adorable. Don't you wish you knew who did it to them so you could tie them on, and throw them on the highway?

Lori, you're just a magnet!! :p How is the Mama? I hope she will be OK. I noticed you said, "so if there is any one who can give a Great forever home to one of these guys Let me know.." so, what are you going to name the one you keep?! ;) Seriously, they are adorable ... God bless you for rescuing them! :thumbup::thumbup:

God does great work. I don't believe for an instant that this was a coincidence Lori. I am sure that God placed these babies with the best person for the job.... :hug:

LOL I can't keep any ...I wish I could.. If we did it would be the Girl "Star" she is the one with less white on her face. "Jack" the lil boy is just as sweet but a little more shy... But I think If hubby could he would keep them both ;)

I've been really wondering where you have been and now I know... out rescuing dogs!!! I always wanted to be like you.... finding dogs but it never happens!

They "found" the perfect foster mom, that's for sure. They are so cute - are you even tempted to keep one? :D

You know I am Teri :P I just love them both.. but they really need someone that has more one on one time for them..

I'll bet it's fun working with the Border Collie Rescue! My son has one that he rescued 10 or more years ago from a big dumpster at the park! There were two ... he found a great home for the other one too. Missy just worships my son and hangs on his every word .... he can even tell her [over the phone] to do what I tell her to do and she does it!! ;) She is one of the smartest dogs I have ever seen. Enjoy your work with them, they are so much fun!! :)

Lori bless your heart! So many people would have just kept driving. I would have a hard time giving them up but I bet they are a handful I'll be watching for new on the mommy. You rock!:love:

I don't know how any one could just keep driving!:thumbdown And that mama was smart to keep the way off the road... they only started barking after I got to mama and was there for a bit.. I was very impressed.

Aww Lori - you are such a sweetheart! The Momma is beautiful! I love her coloring. And the babies are too darn cute. I sure hope all 3 get good homes. Thanks for stopping and helping them out. :thumbup::thumbup:

oh, Lori, they are beautiful. No wonder your hubby wants to keep them. That mom did a great job - wow with the weather we have been having, it's lucky any of them are alive. Wonder if she had lost others :(
