Lori they are beautiful and so is the mom, how someone could just sit those beauties out on the street makes me sick. Your a angel girl, God will bless you for your goodness. :)

Awww Lori, they are adorable! How can people be so cruel to leave them to fend for themselves like that?:(:mad: I'll bet they were so glad to be found and get into the warmth of your car. I wonder how long they were out there on their own? Did they seem thin at all............hungry, I'm sure.
You are their life-saver, Lori. I swear, as passionate as you are about animals, you ought to be in that line of work in some way, shape, or form.
:thumbup::thumbup: to you for saving that mama and her pups. I'm anxious to hear what injuries the mom has and how she is doing. Will check back later.

well I talked to my contact and mama is resting and doing ok. she has a broken leg in 2 places and a possible pelvis break. I will update as I can.

mama was really thin the pups were not to bad I did take them to the vet and other than slightly thin they are pretty healthy.
they got shots and wormed.

Aw, you're such a good mama Lori. What would doggie world do without you! Magnet is correct - you've always got one tucked away somewhere don't you. LOL

What a wonderful thing you did for those babies. I hope their mama will be OK.

Sad update on the MAMA
 
she passed away today... :rainbow:they had to PTS:cry8:. She was to badly injured. her left leg was completly shattered and her right led was brok in 2 places and broke right at the pelvis.
there was nothing else they could do for her..
Rest in peace sweet Angel:angel2dl: your babies are safe.

Poor girl :( I'm glad she was in good hands until she passed away.

That is sad about the momma but I have to agree with everyone else, You are an Angel for taking care of those babies. God Bless You Lori.

I just read this whole thread and felt so terribly bad to see the Mama dog didn't make it. Bless her heart. I am so glad the pups are in good hands. You are such a sweetheart!

Omg, Lori I was doing ok with this thead and reading it all.. then see this post!!!! upsetting to say the least....What a gal you are tho.. but always knew this with you anyway..wanting to say a big thank you also for what you did for this momma and those babies.. I feel so sad and broken when I read this about momma being in such bad shape..
I would love to know how she got there like this with babies.. and why would she be broken so darn badly.... my heart goes out to you girlie..
There are no words for how I am feeling reading momma could not be save.. but so glad and happy that the babies are ok..
I know you will find the best homes for them, the right person will come along.. with our traveling south in the winter and then home for the summer.. my furtbutts do not need long long walks and are content, but would not make the right parent for these guys.. but I will pray you find them the perfect parents that will love a special story like yours..
