I reached my goal weigt today!
 
I hit it this morning! I stepped on the scaled, looked, closed my eyes, and looked again!

I can't believe it! I've lost 103 lbs since 3/08 when I had gastric bypass. I've gone from a 24/26 pants to an 8, and from a 3X top to a misses large or medium depending on the style.

This is so bittersweet:( I'd give anything if my husband were alive to see me now. We talked about him having the surgery the year before he died and he would be SO proud of me. He loved me the way I was, but it would be so nice to see that big, beautiful smile of his:(

What kind of exercise do you do?

I'm sure your husband is very proud of you.

Thank you. I did water aerobics for a long time, but I am recovering from a broken kneecap right now and am limited exercise wise. I have a DVD from a bariatric support website that I can do right now.

I can't wait to be able to get out and walk again! I really miss it.

Congrats on your weightloss!! I am sure you feel wonderful...... and I would bet that your hubby IS smiling and IS proud of you from heaven!!!

THATS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO AWESOME!!!! Im considering the lapband myself... but I would really like to try to loose it on my own... the only thing is I have a thyroid problem... so its going to be hard!!! :( you look AWESOME!!! ss about your hubby...
