Blackberry commerical -- I have a Storm!
 
***WARNING WARNING WARNING*** This is a bragging thread :D But I can't help it I'm so proud of Hubby!!!!!

Today was hubby's big day. The crew came down from Canada and filmed the Blackberry commerical, featuring my husband and the application he wrote for the company that he works for. The application is currently being used on over 2000 Blackberries nationwide. Hopefully I will be able to get a clip and post it before too long. He came home with three brand new still in a sealed box Blackberry Storms..... So guess who is the proud owner of a Storm????? :D

That's exciting! I can't wait to see the commercial and brag to all of my friends that I *know* the guy in it!:D I bet you're enjoying your new phone! I'd kill for a blackberry right now:rolleyes:

I just got a Blackberry Monday!!! I got the Pink Curve, just because I've had the Dare and Voyager and touch just isn't for me for txting.

But I love it! My first BB, I'm hooked!

Breny, is your Blackberry the 8830? That is hubby's favorite model. We will be going this weekend to have my service plan changed over. It is a very sleek slick looking phone. My son has one and he absolute loves it. Gee whiz it has an 8 GB memory card that will hold 11 hours of video.

How exciting for you ..and hubby! I can't wait to get my BB, I have yet to decide on the one I want and I am having a hard time. Good thing I have till March thou:rolleyes:

WOW!!! Your hubby's in a commercial??!!! I am so excited for you and him! I can't wait to see the commercial! For once I will be looking forward to a commercial! Too cool! Have fun with that new phone! Tell your hubby I said, "Way to go!!!" Let us know when it is airing!

How very exiting Cindy,i will be be looking for the commercial :) let us know how you like the BB, i am thinking about it too, right now i have the Voyager . but cant make up my mind between the storm or the curve..not that i need it, just want it...:D

I love it! I just got my first BB! It is a Navy Blue Curve! It is so much fun taking random pics of my dogs and sending them to all my friends!

Mine is the Pink 8330. I wonder what the differences are? I'm thru Verizon. I'm having fun playing thats for sure ! I love how my email comes right to my phone, so cool and the pictures are awesome!!!

LOL Heck, I don't know what Hubby is going to do with them, probably some luckly family member will get a sweet pressy for Christmas. Hubby already has 3 or 4 Blackberries that he uses for business. He is rarely without at least one. This commercial will probably never been seen by the general public. It will be used as an advertisting tool for REM (Blackberry Manufacturer) to market their devices to large commericla users. BUT.... I am hoping to get a snippet of the 30-45 minute infomercial to post.

Oh Breny, the pink 8830 is sweet! I am hoping that we can get to Verizon before it closes tonight to get my phone service swapped to the Storm. Girl, maybe we can "practice" on each other since we both have Verizon!

A friend at my Thrive meeting, her mom got her one for Christmas. It's pretty cool. I was considering one before I got my Voyager, but opted out when I realized it cost $30 extra month. Our bill is already over $170 a month for 2 phones. Since hubby is a truck driver, he burns up a lot of minutes to non-Verizon "minute suckers" as he kindly refers them. lol

How wonderful and excitiing for you and your family Cindy. I have the BB pearl because I wanted something really small and I just love it, but now I'm wondering what the 8830 does that mine doesn't. :D I have AT&T.

That is a totally awesome idea - we could start a social group - and have Storm to Storm messaging. What a hoot!

New technology amazes (and sometimes scares) me. This tiny little handheld device is more powerful than the first real desk top (NCR Deskmate) computer we were using back in the earl7 1980's.

How is the touchscreen Cindy ? I have the Voyager and i realy dont care for it too much... thinking about a BB too but i am not due for an upgrade till August... but thinking paying full price with my Tax return, this way i can save my upgrade for whenever...

it doesn't have to be storm to storm messaging! you can message anyone that has a blackberry regardless of what blackberry model they have! you just need their PIN :p i talk to my supervisor and my manager all the time in fact i showed them how to use their blackberrys :yelrotflm

Ya know what you could do? You could take a video of Beau and Maggie May and POST it from your phone! That would be so much fun for you....

LOL! Ok so maybe it would be more for us and Cindy but still... it would DEFINITELY be exciting!

OMG Cindy you are so lucky.. Im stuck with Tmobile till August. I have the BB Pearl right now and looking at the new Curve. But the Storm looks awsome.
