I ordered my wedding dress today!
 
:yay_jump: I ordered my wedding dress today! :yay_jump:

I've been trying to convince my mom to come visit me so we could go dress shopping and finally, today she decided to come up! I had went shopping with my bridesmaids a few months ago so I had it narrowed down to 3 dresses already. Thank goodness, mom actually liked the same ones that I did!:rolleyes:

It feels so good to have it ordered! They told me that it should be in around the 20th of May.:D

I forgot to attach a picture...

Granted, it doesn't look the same on someone that isn't 6' tall and 100 pounds but it'll give you an idea!:D

Absolutely Beautiful !! :eek:

Have fun with all the planning and remember to ENJOY it :D try not to stress out (too much) . Even if things seem crazy you will remember nothing but the beauty of the day after it's all over...and even the crazy stress will seem funny then ;)

I SWEAR that's the same dress my friend wore in her wedding this past October. If so, it was the most GORGEOUS dress I'd ever seen!!! Who is the designer? Congrats!!!!

Thank you!! As soon as I put it on the very first time, I knew it was a keeper! I kept trying more on but as soon as I started comparing everything else to this dress, I knew it was the one.

It's called Mirabella by Maggie Sottero.

Congrats! So exciting!

My husband and I are renewing our vows this year on our 4th anniversary (10.2.09), because we eloped originally. I just got my dress in October and it's such a stress-reliever to get that part over and done with. Hehe. :p

Congratulations! When is your wedding? My daughter and I are shopping for her wedding dress...I can't even believe I have a daughter of marrying age. She has onepicked out at David's Bridal, but she wants to look a little more. Heck, that's half the fun!

Your choice is beautiful! How exciting.

I agree, it is a huge stress reliever to finally have the dress ordered! :D I've been so worried about finding one that I liked...and my mom liked.:rolleyes: I am very happy with my choice!

That dress is STUNNING!!!!!! Mine was a Maggie Soterro too and I LOVED it. They are SOOOOO elegant and I am sure you will look absolutely beautiful in it. I sure loved mine. Aww, makes me wanna go put it on :D

I'm so happy to hear you say that! It's so amazing how different the same dress can look on different people!

By any chance, do you have any pictures of your friend in the dress? I'm trying to decide what I want to do about bustling up the train for the reception. Since the dress has so much detail and beading on the back, I hate to cover any of it up!:D

Aww, thank you! I feel beautiful in it!:D When I originally picked it out, I showed a picture of it to Blake so he has seen it...but I decided not to tell him which one we actually bought!

Thank you! We are getting married on November 7, 2009...9 1/2 months to go! It seems like so far away but we got engaged in September and these last 4 months have flown by!:eek:

Trying on dresses is fun! The first time I went, I had my best friend-maid of honor and another good friend with me. We had such a blast! Make sure your daughter tries on a few that she knows she will hate! Laughing at the ugly dresses was half of the fun!:D

All of Maggie Sottero's dresses are gorgeous! All 4 of my top picks were designed by her. :D

I had picked out that designer before I even went shopping :D Then when I saw my dress with that little bit of pink on it and I was SOLD :D

It's gorgeous.....you will be a beautiful bride in that. Great pick. It's hard when you go shopping because there tends to be so many dresses to choose from. Of course the one you really want usually is the one out of your budget...lol.
