I saw the interview also, it was sad.......I hope he beats this but it didn't look good for him....After the show our local news interviewed a local woman who was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in 2006.......the same cancer as Patrick. She is in a clinical trial for a vaccine that she receives every 6 months....two years later she is clear and well.... |
It IS really sad :( I love him! |
To me, he looked like he was in pain, but, I still really like him. I know miracles can happen, my Uncle had pancreatic cancer a few years ago, and when he went in after his treatments one day, the cancer was gone, so, there are miracles and maybe Patrick will be another "miracle" |
I watched it too and he is also a favorite of mine... It was so sad to see him like that. I felt soooo sorry for his wife. Barbara ask some hard and personal questions....:( |
I'm sure it said on the news last night that he'd been given a couple of months to live:(but I could be wrong-I hope so:( |
very sad,, lets all say a prayer for him right now. |
He's already had it for a year, and outlived a lot of people that have had it. He's a true fighter, and as I said, miracles happen, and maybe he will be another survivor of it, lets hope anyway. |
He was diagnosed 10 months ago, and most diagnosed with stage 4 don't last more than a few months.... so he IS fighting.....I am joining in for "Prayers for Patrick".... |

He was my first crush ever! I was sooo in love with him when I was a kid that it just hurt. I watched Dirty Dancing over and over...it is still one of my favorite movies. And Ghost...such a tear jerker :(:(! I missed the interview but I can't imagine how hard this must be on his wife. Does he have any kids? |
I personally could not watch the interview. He's such a gentle person. They have not made much progress over 40 years since my father died of pancreatic cancer in 1968. He was gone in 6months at the age of 54. I pray for a miracle for him. I know how devestating living can be just waiting for the day to say goodbye. I love him in everything but Ghost is my very favorite. Prayer's coming for you Patrick. |
I watched the interview last night also and very sad...I so feel for him and his wife...I loved him in Dirty Dancing and my all time favorite Ghost....Prayers for him and his family.....:hands: |

He is one of my Favs too... I loved Ghost and Dirty Dancing. He's a fighter and isn't giving up!! I cried when his wife started to choke up. They've been married 33 years. I'm sending Prayers to Patrick from Lancaster, PA!!! Keep on fighting Patrick!!! We're all behind you... |
I was so sad when I heard this. I had heard that he and his wife were never able to have children, is this true:(? I liked seeing then work together in Road House (I think that was the name of the move). God Bless Him! |

Alone he looked more normally colored but with her sitting beside him you could def see it. |
I think he said he might have 2 years in the interview. My Dad died of pancreatic cancer and he lived about a year. It is according where in the pancreas the cancer is the amount of time you have. Dad have it in the head around a major blood vessel. If it is on the tail you could live longer. |
He was just taken to the hospital. :( |
I just saw it on inside edition,so sad they said that the cancer is affecting immune his system. |
I think the interview was a bit harsh. Why didn\'t she ask: What do you say to someone who is also fighting this or any other type of cancer? Or, have you tried any of the holistic healings? Now he\'s in the hospital with pneumonia. This just may make things worse for him. He\'s such a fantastic actor. I loved him in Dirty Dancing best. |
Oh no...I just heard on the radio....I hope he will be ok...sadly this will most likely be what his life will be like now though...fighting off one thing or another.....prayers for Patrick. |
Oh my.. I really hated to hear that he\'s been hospitalized. His chances are slim to none because the cancer has already spread to his lungs. I didn\'t see the interview but heard that on one of the talk shows. When my step dad was really sick the emergency room doctor told me that when a person is very sick and they have the sunk in places above their cheek bones they won\'t last long. My step dad was dead a week later. Patrick was like that. :( |
Just heard this on the radio also...Sending more prayers :hands: :hands: :hands: to him and his family |
