Nothing to ring in the New Year
 
We were hoping to go down to the river and watch the fire works sipping some bubbly to celebrate but Hubby and I are both sick. I guess it will be more romatic sipping our chicken soup!

I just got home, finished all my errands and intend to stay here til tomorrow. It just isn't safe to be on the roads past 7 or 8 pm. My bf works til 8 so he is going to come home and cook dinner. Sure hate to hear you lost your job. But this year and the one coming I'm afraid alot of people will be going through this very same thing. Its not easy to find a new one either. Good Luck in your search.

By the way I'm staying home and just going to watch some TV and talk to friends and maybe groom some dogs and have fun with them. I'm not sure if we will watch the ball drop, maybe if my eyes will stay open for that. Or just lay in bed and hope to watch it and see what happens. I just hope for all of us that this New Year will be better than the last!!!!!

We are not doing anything here. Hoping to keep my eyes open long enough to see Elton John but it doesn't look too positive as I was up at 6 to make work by 7. The fur kids have already packed it in and are asleep on the couch and the snuggle bed-party poopers! They will both wake up again around 10 for a final pee call and then run straight to bed. So if you don't hear from us again-HAPPY NEW YEAR to all.

Does anyone know why nobody from NY is posting tonight?? They are all Watching the ball drop in person. :D
We on the other hand are watching tv, and I am puting some highlights in my dh hair. Im sure we will be asleep before 12 here.

Add me to the hermit list......I'm going to take a hot shower..... get in my flannel p.j.'s and some thick fuzzy socks....... and pop some popcorn with a little butter drizzled on .......and then climb into bed.......:cheers:

Well this New Yorker is at work right now! I would not be crazy enough to be down in the city tonight, it is FREEZING!! I cant wait to get home and put the PJ's on and cuddle up!! :D
