It is a tradition...... and I was wondering who else has the Christmas Story on all day???
We turned on the tv at 9:00 last night....... to "A Christmas Story" and it is STILL on....... we watch it all day, in between snacking and cleaning and snacking and relaxing and snacking and enjoying Christmas gifts and did I mention SNACKING!!!

Does anyone else watch this Christmas movie ALL Day??? ...... or are we the only crazy ones??!!

........ my favorite parts of the movie are

- the bunny suit
-when the Mom dumps the bowling ball in the Dad's lap
- F-r-a-g-i-l-e
-the flagpole incident
- the flat tire, f-word incident
- the santa at the mall

Yep..we have it on all day, too. We gave our 9 year old grandson a Red Ryder BB gun for Christmas today. He wanted it almost as much as Ralphie did

We Do !!! We started last night at 8/9 p.m. and it has been on all day ( mostly). It's a tradition we all love

I can't pick a favorite line , I love many , but I like the end....

" I shot my eye out ! "

We have been watching it all day and teasing my son who got a pellet gun for Christmas , "you'll shoot your eye out.

"....Well he didn't but the scope jerked on him and smacked his eye when he fired it , so we still tease him.

We have had it on all night too!! Its my favorite movie. I have called it You'll Shoot Your Eye Out since I was a kid.

we kept it on all morning and i watched it last night too........that's so funny...this was my son's favorite movie growing up he's 23 now..

we always thought it was so funny because he had a friend that looked like Ralphie when he was growing up....lol

l love this movie too! it's a nice tradition.

Ahhhhhhhh, you are not alone in this addiction. I, too, am a sufferer of this timely affliction. I have found that by purchasing this CD, you can ease the cravings that plague you when you least expect it - during the summer. Good luck on controlling this menace.

We had it on today..i love that movie! I love the part when the little brother has on the snowsuit and he cant move, and the bullies laughing, the scene in the classroom with Ralphy daydreaming about his essay, the leg lamp, i love a lot of the scenes, i dont have a fav. They all make me laugh

We LOVE A Christmas Story! We watch it a million times every year at Christmas time - we can't EVER get enough of it (who can??)

I have A Christmas Story wrapping paper (ok, and gift bags too - LOL) and hubby has a shirt that say's "You'll Shoot Your Eye Out"...LOL

And we have "the leg lamp" Christmas tree ornament! We are obsessed and yes it is most DEFINITELY a tradition to watch the movie! We had it on all day long too (even though we own the DVD

). We were gone for most of the day, but heck, we kept it on anyway, LOL!!

Oh and I LOVE....

"GET THE GLUE!"

"We're OUT of GLUE!"

............"You used ALL THE GLUE...ON PURPOUS!!!!!"

That is just THE BEST movie!!

We had it on all day also my grandson is 6 and he had already started watching this movie about the 2nd week of December I also own the DVD but when it comes on tv for a 24 hour marathon we tune it on and watch it for most of the 24 hours,my grandson loves it when the boy gets his tongue stuck to the flag pole.my favorite is the pink bunny suite and when his brother is all wrapped up in his snow suite and not being able to get up off the ground.
