What Did you get for Christmas??
 
I always love to hear about the Christmas gifts that others got!! A friend of mine got the most gorgeous scarf one year and I will always remember how excited she was about it........ it was pink cashmere!! ;)

I thought it would be fun to hear about YOUR favs this year..... I will start with mine.

This year I received a leather purse with a hand-paint Yorkie on it. It is beautiful!! It is the perfect size that I like to carry!!! .... and very classy looking....
Some new bathroom towel sets..... in lovely colors (and to match the master bath)..... PINK & GREEN!!..... and they are SO FLUFFY!! .... can't wait to wrap one of those babies after a shower.....Luxury!!!!!! :D
I also received a SEWING MACHINE!!.... I used to sew all the time for my daughters when they were little, but haven't done anything for years.... so now I have something to make repairs with and MAYBE try my hand at making something for Shelby & Seymour!!! :D
I also received a "snow bunny" outfit..... to wear this winter..... pink cords, an off-white sweater and a pink down vest... LOVE IT!!!

Well???? Has anyone opened up anything yet?? Any FAVS that you are excited about????

I got a hearts on fire anniversary ring, a beauiful white gold chain, a sterling yorkie pendent in a heart, my dear friend sent me a cute Coach mini purse and Mama Mia Dvd.

I got several things from my 6 year old son. He folded up some wrapping paper with a lot of tape and gave it to me. I got a 'telescope' (a tube of paper taped up and colored purple). I got a 'picture frame' (4 used popsicle sticks glued together in a square) I got some loose puzzle peices in a ziplock bag. I also got a book. I was halfway through reading it last week. I wondered where it went. :p

My husband got me some accessories for my Wii Fit, a gift card for the Maurices clothing store, and a funny tshirt.

And lastly, Triss, my sweet little adorable dog, left me a 'present' under the christmas tree. :eek:

I received new pink measuring cups and spoons, red "sweater" mittens from Winoka, MN, a bracelet with beach charms I don't know what the name was but it started with a P, the new HP book, a Yankee candle & a new spiral 5' Christmas Tree.

Oh, and Santa (grandma) brought grand-k's RockBand and we're trapped here until dinner's finished.....Grandpa just asked me to push "dinner" and lets eat at noon. BEWARE OF THE GIFTS THAT YOU PURCHASE....YOU MAY HAVE TO ENDURE THEM FOR HOURS AT A TIME LATER!!

Well I got my Vera Wang Princess perfume and season six of the InuYasha anime box set. We also got our new computer, we had planed for it for some time and as luck would have it our old one died on us last Friday night! It's an HP Pavilion Elite, it is so much nicer than our older computer and boy is it fast! I also get to go to my parents still and I have no clue what I am getting from them.

aww what great presents, guys. Heather - I loved reading what your son gave you! How cute!

I feel very spoiled by my parents this year! haha.

I got:

- a new digital camera!!!!! I seriously died. It's a coolpix. I LOVE it!!
- a webcam!
- Lotion
- an ornament
- David Archuletta CD(my brother gave it to me)
- Memory Card
- a pair of pj's that I've wanted for like...a year
- lottery tickets (I won $7 =))
- 2 books (a book about shelter dogs that have been used in Broadway shows and Barack Obama's book about growing up)
- Chocolate
- headbands and whatnot
- Tickets to the opening preview of one of my favorite shows (I saw it when it was having it's out-of-town tryouts in California. :)) I had no clue that I was getting them. actually, I thought I'd get it for my birthday, because it's on April 7, the day before my birthday. But I was VERY VERY excited haha.

Those homemade gifts are treasures!!! How lucky!! (it reminds me of when my daughters were little! :) )

.......mmmmmmmmmm...... I knew there was something that I didn't get that I had on my list..... my socks ARE really in need of replacement. Maybe I can hit an "after Christmas sale" for a few new pairs. I usually get some for Christmas too..... but not this year.

Funny someone mentioned the 'list'...everytime our grandson opened something that wasn't on his list he would cover it back up with the wrapping paper, hand it to his Mom and tell her...'that wasn't on my list!'. He's 4...scary to think what he'll be like at 10!

LOL...... he sounds like a character!!!!
My daughters have written lists for as long as I can remember.... and they always ask for one from me. BUT we never go "by the list" exactly.... there is always MANY surprises!!..... it does make it easy for those "don't know what to get for" people. :D

-GORGEOUS brown hobo bag...just the perfect size for a little stowaway ;)
-Cute little slippers that actually look like boots...I LOVE THESE

My dh:wub: gave me a beautiful "Journey" diamond necklace and a new platinum wedding band to replace the one I lost :( while we were in Haiti, and a spa gift certificate. From my boys I got lots of pj's and fluffy robes , Yankee candles, and their handmade gifts ( framed drawings and comic books they drew ...I always get a handmade something:heart79: they know how to melt my heart ) and a little stuffed Yorkie with a diamond necklace.

It was a nice Christmas but it was the first Christmas our oldest son was away for Christmas :( We miss him a lot but he will be back in two weeks :D.

I got two sets of Sweats.. so I have them for my Impending surgery afterwards to go to therapy, an I got a International Phone Card so I can call my Friend Debra (HighlandYorkies) in Scotland, I got Victoria Secrets Perfume, Two Gifts Certificates to the Pet Shop in Town..(Gone to The Dogs) A beautiful candle that smells like Apple Pie & cinnamon, A 7Gg Memory card for my camera, Two Books- John Edwards- Talking to Heaven, & One Last Time, Gloves, A MSU Scarf Its Neat! 4 Yorkie Coffee Mugs, mmmm I think that is it... Was very Blessed this Christmas.. ALL the KIDS MADE IT!!!:p

I got the Twilight cd in my stocking, LOL -- which was cute because we decided not to exchange gifts this year because we always just go get what we need usually and we bought a Keurig coffee maker before Christmas as a gift :-p.

My mom got us an electric griddle and some kitchen accessories, my grandma gave us some cash -- it was a sweet Christmas! :)

Awesome...... a 4.0!!!! Sounds like you have been working hard!! Good for you.... it will definitely pay off someday!! What a wonderful.... and well deserved... gift!!

Glad that all the kids made it........ and as for the scarf, although I have family at U of M, if I would have went to college, MSU would have been my pic!! ;) Love that GREEN and white!!!

I got to have my 18 year old son come home, and he brought gifts for Muffy & Buddy. It was so cute. He got Buddy a t-shrit that says Here comes trouble and he broght Muffy a sock monkey. My son got one when he was a kid and over the summer we found it in an old box. I wanted to give it to the fur kids and he through a fit so for Christmas he got them one of there own. He has been looking for months for one and had to have it made. LOL.

I also got a laptop, A Flash Drive, A Mouse, A Visor, A gift card for the fur kids.

Pretty simple Christmas here for us this year. It is our first in our new home! What a Christmas present!! We've had a fire going all day and Willow & Jake have finally settled down after running around all day chasing one new squeak toy after another. My FAVORITE gift though (aside from our new home) is the book The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein. OMG! I started welling up after reading the first chapter this morning while my husband prepared his famous Christmas breakfast. Then, I was so taken by the book I had to read it aloud to him....can't wait to pick it up again! Great day!!! Merry Christmas everyone!!!!

My oldest son got me a gift card, my daughter got me a gorgeous sweater, my youngest son got me a hat and booties set for my new collectable doll and my hubby got me a new collectable doll kit made out of solid silicone.. I LOVE HER.. I posted some pictures below, I am a custom doll maker and I collect solid silicone baby dolls..:D

- new high spec. semi pro digital camera

- dressing gown and slippers
- dvd I wanted, (it's for kids :rolleyes:)

and off Amelia I got a beautiful chain with a heart that says "I'm lucky to have a Mummy like you" and a me2you bear that I collect.

Amelia got lots and lots of presents...

- activity play tent with ball shoots and stuff on the sides
- an inflatable giant rabbit that can't be pushed over without popping back up
- a ball sorter with a spiral thing for them to roll down
- babys first laptop
- v-tech baby smile interactive tv console
- big jungle toy that's for babys just learning to walk with lots of activities
- trampoline
- bath toys
- giant pink yorkie
- winnie the pooh car/rocker/push-a-long car
- iggle piggle interactive toy, (from a kids show she likes)
- clothes
- my first xmas me2you bear

I think we both got spoilt. :rolleyes:

I got a Pedicure Gift Certificate, chocolate, Winners Gift Certificate, $$ from my son and the Mamma Mia movie!!
KiKi got a new blanket and pillow set (made by Diggy4)..which she just loves, and a new squeeky toy, which she has carried around all day! LOL :p
