Anyone with a Wii?? My boyfriend and I were thinking about getting ourselves a mutual gift. We were thinking about the Wii. We bought it and put it under the christmas tree, but now are second guessing it. Does anyone have the Wii, is it fun for adults, what are some good games? It looks like it could be fun, but i also noticed that a lot of the games seemed kidish. Is it worth the money? |
:) Well....I can tell you....I am far from young (in age). I am 50 years old....I don't have a Wii (yet), but have played it and it is totally awesome. Have fun! |
My Daughter has one and Me and my Husband play with it. We just got the Wii fit. You will love it. The sport games are alot of fun |
Well, my hubby and I are both in our 50's and we have the wii and love it! The sports games (my favorites, bowling and tennis) are lots of fun. We also got the wii fit and like that also. I have grandkids and they love it too, it's great for all ages. Tons of games are available, on discs and you can also download lots of the old nintendo games, like Donkey Kong, Mario bros, tons of them. Don't worry, you won't be sorry you got the wii!:D |

I'm 55 & we have a blst with our WII. My son (37) bought his fiance one....yeah it's fun. We bowl, play tennis, golf, box, baskeball & we just got a disk that has fishing. We also have Dance Dance Revolution &,even though I suck at it, we have so much fun. |
Wii have one, and my hubby is totally addicted to Mario Cart since we hooked it up online. The best thing about it is you can access Yorkietalk from it. ;) My favorite game is Resident Evil, but I doubt if most people my age enjoy that game. |
me and my boyfriend have one. its the only game system that ill play (he has EVERYTHING).. my favorite game is the mario cart! but the games that come with the system like bowling and tennis are really fun too :) . i work at the electronic department in sears and ill just tell you that wii's are in such a high demand, i actually had a customer tell me that shell write ME a personal check if i hold a wii for her when we get one in:eek:.. i thought about it :p lol but i knew i couldnt so shell just have to wait! :D |

My husband and I are going to get one for "Christmas" in January after we get the next pay check. After reading this I am now VERY excited. We also have a X-box 360 that we play because we are antisocial and dorky like that:rolleyes: I hope you guys enjoy yours! |
A really fun Wii game is Circus games. It is all games that you would find at a carnival. |
Super MAria Galaxy was my favorite. And I like Wii tennis that comes with Wii too :) |

We have one here too..we are both 49 and love it!!! I want to get the new snowboard game that you use the balance board with. It gets us up off the couch. We also like the golf and tennis. |
We love the Wii :D. My kids really enjoy it , but we do too ( It's about the only time I enjoy golfing with my dh;)) There are sooo many games , and as others have said you can download older games , and the wii fit is awesome ! You really can't get bored. |
We got our boy's the Wii when it first came out and have loved it! My husband and I like to play the games and we just got a Wii Fit for them for Christmas, we opened our gifts today so that they could play with their stuff tonight sense we spend all day at my moms on Christmas, and WOW is that fun! I want to go get the Shawn White snowboarding game now!! |
I don't have a Wii, but from what I've heard, I think it's probably one of the better FAMILY game systems. I've noticed that most of games for Xbox and Playstation and that are getting very explicit and violent, whereas Wii is more family friendly, which I like. (Yes I'm 21 and am concerned with things being family friendly and no I have no children lol) I get irritated and offended with my husbands games hearing all the explicit language that these games have. I think it's awful. Anyways, I think Wii is great! I played it once at Best Buy and I really want one... I want the Wii Fit so I can get back in shape. |
My husband and I are both in our late 20's and we love the Wii. We actually played ours a couple of nights ago. The sports game that comes with it is really fun (i prefer the bowling one) and they also have other games that fit to adults. It is actually a game system perfect for the entire family. I asked for the wii fit for Christmas, so I am hoping I get it!!! ;) |

Fun Hi, we got the wii after last christmas and I am going to be 28 next month, and we had lots of fun playing golf and bowling. We also have carnival games, kinda cool, just like being at a carnival with the games they have. The racing games are awesome. We got super mario galaxy which was fun. I also like the shooting games! Merry Christmas to you guys, the wii will definately keep you occupied! |

My DD got hers on Christmas! We ALL stayed up until about 1:30 this morning playing it! My DH and I are NOT big gamers, but it was really fun! We played all the Wii Sports games (tennis, bowling, golf, boxing, baseball, etc) and they were fun....Loved them all!!! Boxing...good arm workout!! :biggrin: We also played an off-road racing game....big hit with DD and DH (since we have jeeps, etc)..... We also have (not played yet) the Wii Fit, guitar hero, another racing game (street, drag, etc), party games, paintball..and a few others...can't think of right now. We have three Wii remotes, nunchuks and 2 guns. We might get some hand-held wheels for the racing games...but don't know yet. It is really fun!!! |
