It is really pretty, but I am with my NC neighbor! I complain b/c we hardly ever get snow, but I don't know if I want that much!! Merry Christmas!!

I did that when I lived in Texas for the last 45 years, lol... now in my 46th year, I get this...! lol! I used to be so sad when I was wearing a Tank Top & Shorts for Christmas. Now we have this. A happy medium would be nice! :p

The UK is the happy medium!!! Come on over, some YTers are borrowing Santa's sleigh and reindeer and coming over to clean my house... although instead it seems we're drinking and getting pizza! :D:D:D

I'M SOOOOOOOOOO JEALOUS!!!! It's 18 degrees here right now and dropping. I know there are others who are much colder with this arctic blast though. I just hate the cold, snow and ice! :cold smil:snow::cold smil:tongue030

Yep, thats me digging on the Potty Path... I look like I should be on that show "Ice Road Truckers"!!! Notice there ARE a couple little dogs down that path, in red coats.

Here are some pics of what I'm dealing with. I'd say there's almost 3 feet of it now. ( in case anyone wonders, my house is from 1909. So thats why it looks like that.... like it's old, cuz it is.....lol :rolleyes:)
wow I would say you have alot .. :eek: our house was built in 1908 so I know how it is.. lol they are nice though

Cool!!! Aren't they fun (old houses)?!! Lucky for us, ours was remodeled inside before we bought it. Inside new, outside old. ;)

Thank you. They think they're pretty cute too :p The first couple of days Noah went out sniffed the snow and danced in it (wish I had a video of that). Now he runs out, makes yellow snow, and runs right back in :eek:

We don't have quite 3 ft yet, maybe 2...but it's supposed to kick in again tonight for the next 5 days.
Don't you just cringe at that "stuck in a snow globe" feeling????
Take it easy shoveling, don't hurt yourself, take lots of breaks to warm up....rum works best for me!

Ours too LOL but it was not remodeled well so we are fixing a lot.. not to mention the old cistern that caved in this past summer and about took part of the house in it. Thank god for hubby and his friend.
I do have a a thread somewhere about it with pictures... LOL that was scary

Now THAT is some serious snow !!! I'm still waiting for snow here. I would love to have that !!! ( but I have three boys who would be doing the shoveling ;)) I know , be careful what I wish for :D

that's just CRAZY. Look at that truck.....just driving like its normal. I couldn't habdle the snow. A little Snowman every 8 years or so is good enough for our household members.....lol
