The threat of negative feedback is often enough to get it resolved. In the future, only buy from sellers with 99%+ positive feedback and with used items, ask more questions about the condition before you buy. Can the item be cleaned? If so, and if the rest of it is in good condition, I doubt you would have much recourse. I once ordered some dog clothes off Ebay. They were advertised as new. They arrived reeking of cigarette smoke, with all of the packaging etc. still there. They were new. I did not think to ask whether they were stored in a smokey environment. I just washed them and moved on. Live and learn. |
