If you can spare a prayer....I REALLY need this!!!
 

I got fired from my job last week. LONG story, but between having to leave early one day to get my daughter from school, then my car breaking down completely ($1700 in repairs!!! :eek: ) and me not able to get to work on time last monday, I got fired. They just do not have much tolerance. So long story short, I am out of work. I do have a VERY promising opportunity as an assistant manager at an apartment complex less than 2 miles from where I live now. It would be such an amazing job!!! twice as much pay as what I was getting, super close to home, flexible hours, great position, and a job that I have lots of experience with. So it would be so perfect. I have passed my background check and am being told that we are just waiting for the green light from the home office. I have been trying for this job for over 3 months and 2 weeks ago was "unofficially" offered the job, pending my background check. So it is looking very promising, but it seems like it is taking forever!!! And right now, being unemployed during the holidays, rent due on the 1st, along with MANY other bills, I am really freaking out. So if you can say a little prayer that the call comes in the next day or 2 so I can start working again and hopefully be able to pay some bills soon, that would be AWESOME. I know the power of prayer...and I have witnessed the power of YT prayer...so can we make this happen?? LOL I know it is all in God's plan, and I know that everything will work out the way HE wants it to, and I'm ok with that, I just really need this to come thru for me. I'm a nervous wreck, a ball of stress, and REALLY dreading Christmas this year because of it all.

and if you aren't a "prayer" type of person, crossing your fingers for me will work too :D I appreciate anything you can contribute :D ***MUAH***

Oh Mandee, I'm so sorry! I know what it's like to have the car break like that and there is just nothing you can do about it. :mad: I can't believe they just fired you like that! I think all businesses are hurting right now and this is happening to a lot of people as they look for ways to cut costs. It's awful. :(

I really hope you get this new job and we will be thinking about you. Let us know as soon as you find out!

Oh gosh Mandee you've dealt with A LOT this year and you've taken it all so well. I'm so sorry to hear that you lost your job. This new one sounds WONDERFUL and I'll be praying that it works out for you!!

well, I still haven't heard anything. So I guess it will be the first of the month at the earliest that I could start this job. I am going out of town for Christmas and won't be back until the 28th really late. I could work this monday and tuesday if they called me, but will be leaving tuesday afternoon until the 28th. I am really freaking out about it. I have been 2 weeks without work, my rent is due on the first, as well as all my utility bills. I can't believe this is happening like this. I had trouble last month paying everything due to some unexpected issues...got that taken care of...and now I am right back in the bind again. I hope and pray things get better at some point. I am really not feeling like they will any time soon. I have a feeling they are going to get a lot worse before getting any better. I need this job so badly. SOOOOOOOOO badly. please don't stop praying. That's really all I can do at this point.

Prayers are going out for you and your little family. I too, had a bit of a dilema this year. Figured that I should just apply and take a position with another company, I gave up 12 yrs of seniority, a permanent full time position for a 1 yr term. My old boss was making my life unbearable.. putting unreasonable demands on me and it was taxing my family and my emotional and physical well being. It is hard to see it sometimes but I believe things really are in HIS plan for us. We just have to keep our trust and belief in him. Have a Merry Christmas with your family and things will work out for the New Year! :)
