I'm so sorry to hear that you're going through such a tough time. I'm glad you're back and I'm sure YT'ers will understand. It was very brave of you to come here and post this. I hope things get better and better for you!

I'm sorry to hear you are going through tough times. It seems each day, I hear of someone who has lost their job and don't know what to do to survive.
I hope and pray things get better for you and yours.

I do have to say, I just can't understand you not fulfilling orders that you have received payment for. People that order from you do so with the understanding and trust that they will receive their items, and if not, then expect a refund. If your sewing machine is broken, couldn't you ask that seamstress friend to use hers...even if you had to go to her home to use it? There's got to be a way. Sorry if I come across as cold hearted, but I do feel sorry for those that have ordered and paid and not received their products. Some of those people that have ordered may be experiencing tough financial times themselves.

Missy, my heart goes out to you. I know there are many many people in your situation sadly. We ALL have gone through tough times, financially, emotionally, mentally, and physically in our lives. When that happens you need to turn to your 'circle', people who make you feel good to help you gain strength mentally and emotionally so you can pull through the tough times. You are in my prayers now.

Are you behind on filling orders for the cookbooks?

Missy you were missed. I am glad that you are back. I am sorry things
just seem to be spinning for you at this time. You worked very hard
on that cook book for YT and I know it came from the heart.
If you have order's to fill and do not have the funds for postage
I will send money to you to help get them mailed.
Just pm me and tell me how much for each book. I am willing
to go $25.00 to help. That should get some of them mailed.

Im sorry you are having such a hard time:( You are very brave for coming here and posting about your situation. This will pass, these things ALWAYS do. i know you probably dont feel that way right now and I can "hear" the overwhelm in your "voice." Thanks for the great job you did on the cookbooks and all the extra effort you put into them, you are a valued member of your community and we are all here for you..((hugs)) stay strong

I am rarely on YT and I just happen to come here tonight and I hit NEW POSTS and this was the first thread I saw I MISS IT HERE I JUST CANT FIND THE TIME with everything I have going all the time ... I have read the thread all the way to the end.. You have been a huge asset to YT and you have many friends here that understand what you are going through.


Now with all that said hold your head high and put your best foot forward Take one day at a time. Do not try to go ahead of yourself not even by one day. Try to do one day at a time ...

Missy, I am very sorry to hear all the bad times that have fallen on you. I wish you and your family well and hope that things will pick up for you soon. With that being said, I feel like I also need to share this with you too: with the economy the way it is, most everyone is having to scrimp and save and I think it is very unfair to the ones who have paid, not to receive their goods or a refund. That person may have been ordering one for a Christmas present. They may have fallen on hard times too after paying for one.

If it were me, I think I would do whatever it takes to make it right with those people. Whether it be working extra, using a friends machine, my husband and I not buying each other Christmas presents, whatever it would take to make it right, that is what I would do. If you paid for something and never received it, because the money was spent elsewhere....well....that simply is not right. Even if it takes you a year to get it all paid back, I think that would be what I would do.
I also think its really cool of Patti to offer to make a dress for free.
