WHAT!? i am confused. so the owner left the dog outside because the dog was too overweight to move on it's own and people couldn't move the dog inside the house because it bites? is that why the dog was left outside? |
Poor dog:( (It reminds me of a programme i saw the other night called 'Fat Pets', there was a rottweiler on there who was could barely walk she was so fat. She was only 4 but probably wouldn't live much longer because of the strain on her heart and other organs. The owner didn't seem to care, the dog was like a local celebrity and I think the woman was loving all the attention -despite most of it being negative.) I agree with the poster who said she doesn't deserve a warm jail cell - stick her to the pavement in freezing temperatures.* |
THAT IS JUST HORRIBLE!!! Breaks my heart... |
OMG!!! Let me be a cop for one day!!!! I swear, payback is a bitch. I hope she gets hers...nothing deserves that lack of attention and love. I agree with the above posts. She should be sent outside in the middle of Alaska naked and hosed down....RIP poor angel. |

What the heck? It breaks my heart that people do this type of things to poor animals. The sad part is if the law intervenes...the consequences are never tough enough! |
I hope they find a loving home for the collie with a nice warm hose to live in. What is wrong with people:( |
That makes me so angry! My childhood dog we inherited from an old Italian lady that would make her a box of pasta for dinner. the...entire....box. She was a britney spanial. (however that is spelled correctly...my bad) When we got her she could barely walk and had to be carried upstairs to our house. In our case it was just a lonely old woman that loved her dog and wanted her to be happy. (this could get me in trouble) Some people do the same things with their kids. Let them eat whatever. because they just want the child to be happy. Then you have the Maury show with the 200lb 3 year old. Its very very sad. glad the poor old girl (the dog) is gonna find a better home. |

Omg!!!! That dog was so much more than overweight. I'm sure his weight did save him when thinking about how cold it must have been to get frozen to the sidewalk. The bulk allowed the dog to keep his internal organs warm, otherwise the dog would have be completely frozen. But as to the dog's weight. That is just unbelievable. I saw the same Fat Pets on Animal Planet and it is shocking to see how overweight some owners allow their pets. My girls love to run and go for walks, just as my children have high metabolisms and active lifestyles. Horrible. Have to agree with what a fitting punishment for her would be. But I doubt she'd be able to survive being frozen to the sidewalk for 12 hours. She "checked" on the poor guy. Please. Her first clue should have been the dog didn't try to come inside. Enough from me. It just makes me so mad:mad: |

I am so glad they are considering the obesity as abuse in this case as well. Dogs don't get fat unless HUMANS make them fat!! |
that is crazy! |
Maybe we should put the owner out on the sidewalk for a night. These people make me sick. |
