Please YT family, if you have a chance try to say a little prayer for my son who just turned 13 on Oct 2, and has his right lung collapsed

........my husband came home on emergency leave from Iraq where he is serving a 15 month tour............Any positive though or prayer will be greatly appreciated. I am so heartbroken, I'd been at the hospital since last saturday and well today is my day to come home and rest

if you can call it rest

. Little by little my baby is getting better but not all the way yet

. I know how very scary and heart breaking it is to have a sick child. And something as serious as a collapsed lung -- you must be beside yourself with worry. Have the doctors determined what caused his lung to collapse?

I just said a prayer for your son, as well as for you...God be with you,as he has been with your husband....Tell your son all of us at YT said to hang in there, that he will be fine,,boys are resilliant,,

I am so sorry about your son. I just wanted to, out of care and concern, tell you to make sure your son takes it easy and does his breathing excercises the doctor give him to do (with the tube/ball thing). My brother had a lung collapse after a car wreck. It is imperative that these patients take it easy for a while following their recovery. I will be praying for you and yours. Jill
