I am working on mine now. I put up two. The one in the foyer is my "pretty" tree with glass ornament. The one in the living room is huge 9 feet and I have over 100 Hallmark ornaments I have collected over the years and I will put that up the weekend after Thanksgiving. I am working on the "pretty" one now. It is only 7 feet. I will post a pic after I finish.

I think we are putting up ours tomorrow. I dont decorate it elaborately though. It has alot of ornaments my daughter has made at home and school

My mom does the exact same thing!!!! The only difference may be that my siblings and I are 20 and older:D. My tree isn't up at home (my parents house) or in my "school" home either. At home, we usually put it up on Thanksgiving, and I don't know about my roommate's tradition, this is my first year living with her. I hope we do get a tree, even if it's small and plastic. I just love CHRISTMAS!!!!

Beautiful trees! Our tradition is to go get a tree the Saturday after Thanksgiving. So, maybe next weekend I will be able to share a photo. I'm so excited about Christmas this year. My dh and I rarely exchange gifts since we started having kids. This year Maximus was my Christmas present. My dh has been wanting to learn how to play the banjo. He went by a banjo store and they had a good used one for sale. He has been obsessed with it ever since. He wanted to go home with it that day, but he told the guy he would have to come home and talk it over with me and then he would let him know something. I told him that there was no way we could afford it right now (with 3 human babies, and him just buying me Maximus). He called the guy back and told him that he wouldn't be able to get it. Little did he know that I had already called the guy and told him I wanted it, and that my dh was going to call and tell him he couldn't get it. (Sorry folks, I know this is a long story, I'm just so excited! lol) Dh went by there yesterday on his way home from work to get other music supplies and of course he asked about the banjo. The guy told him, "man, I was afraid you were going to ask about it, but some guy already bought it". ROFLOL He is going to be SO surprised Christmas morning!!!!!

Ok, I finshed the tree in my foyer. Maybelline also wanted to get in on the action. This will be her first Christmas. Her birthday is 12/14/07. Next weekend I will put up the big tree. Have a happy holidays everyone!!!

We are suppose to be going to TX for Christma this year.....so I am not putting up a tree ( one of my favorite things! ) So, I got a little pink 4' tree that my 5 year old is doing like Hannah Montanna. I got a miniture hannah staocking to hang on the tree.....its a gift card holder. but I m making a picture of sister ( her real mom who passed away ) in it. I always think of something she can include and keep......last year it was a pretty ireland ornament that Maya will get when she is grown. Maybe we will put it up in a minute. I hate not having a real big, live tree to look at, but this can go in her room next year when we stay home.

I always put mine up the day after thanksgiving, but I'll be away this year, so I'm gonna do it this wednesday!

Our little tree is very "Charlie Brown - like" lol -- we are waiting until after Christmas to get a really nice fake one for next year, but I love it anyhow!

Got mine put up today. Feels so peaceful and warm... We always have a very tradtional tree. :)
