Last night I went to a book signing for Martha Stewart's new book, "Martha Stewart's Cooking School." She's one my favorite people so I was very excited. It was a lot of fun so I thought I'd post a couple of pictures from the event! :)

I'm a huge Martha fan; that must have been really fun. Is she intimidating? Looks like a great store.

LoL this thread reminds me of the time my girlfriend gave me Martha Stewart's book called "cooking for 12" or something like that. I just had to laugh cause i can barely cook for me!!! Let alone 12!!! Hahaha. Glad you got to see her in person!

Yes! I had planned on asking her something but was too afraid! I just said hi and she asked if the book was for me and then I said thanks afterward.

It was at Williams-Sonoma and they had "Marthafied" the entire store.

I did! I kept joking that I was going to pass out so she'd remember me and the book signing would be halted. :p

That's cool. I just read somewhere that a lot of stars at book signings have rules (Olsen twins) where you can't talk to them ,etc. That's cool she didn't have that rule.

I know! I was worried about it being super strict but it was more casual than I expected. On the tickets it said you couldn't take pictures but they were allowing them and some people were asking her to take a posed picture (or whatever you want to call it) with her.

They also had cookies that were from the cover of her cookies book!

I read good reviews about that new cookbook of hers. I would love to have gone. Was it the WS on Walnut Street?? Oh well, maybe next time! :(

I do have reservations for Gordon Ramsey's new restaurant in NYC on the 12th of this month. Maybe he'll be there! :D
