The nutritional information of fries is on the package, I know this because after seeing this info I won't let my kids or myself have any! LOL I wonder if it is on all the food wrappings?? I hate mcdonalds, i wish I didn't like thier sugar free vanilla coffee so much. that's the only thing I get there when the kids want a happy meal. |
Order a salad or go somewhere else. It's pretty simple. |
Unless you are ordering the grilled snack wrap with just the grilled piece of chicken, you can eat a small burger for the amount of fat and calories in them. The tortilla, cheese and sauce are outrageous on fat and calories. Scary when you think you are ordering healthier, its not! |
If I was waiting in line at a fast food place and was being held up for a calorie count on a snack wrap, I wouldn't be too happy. You can look it up online. |

I have seen the info on the wrapper of a cheeseburger there too come to think of it. It may be on the wrapper in tiny writing. |
I never said that what I said was funny, but the guy in front of me. ordered 4 big mac meals and a large drink, and parked right next to us and ate all of it. My mother doesn't have a thyroid gland, thank you, and she's overweight. I never said anything about people that can't help it, it makes me angry to see people can. It makes me sad. I don't descriminate against anyone who is trying. This guy, obviously, wasn't. And I'm saying that they should give you a nutritional guide with your meal. |

Maybe he had some sort of mental illness, you really never know. Don't judge someone until you walk in their shoes. |
If you eat out a lot you might be interested in this downloadable guide that has the calorie counts of foods from fast food restaurants. According to the guide, the grilled chicken wrap has 270 calories, while the fried chicken wrap is 330. http://www.fastfoodbook.com/ffg_pdf/FFG_Web.pdf |
okay, obviously i'm going to be flamed for saying something when I was mad. I'm no more happy about the obesity epedemic as anyone else is, but I'M trying, and so are alot of other people, we need a more health oriented food market. If they change everything to healthy, calorie conscious, and perportioned, people would eat that way. And I only went to mc donald's because i only had two dollars on me, and it's literally in front of the gym. |

And I hear on the news that the fattest people are the poorest people because eating unhealthy is cheap. So sad but true. Im fat -Im 60lbs smaller than I was but Im still fat. Oh! $2 plus some change at McDonalds will get ya a side salad and parfait - -YUMMY! |
I work at Wendy's, and we don't generally know things like that beause *most* people who eat our food dont really give a crap haha. Was it a chicken snack wrap? Cause if it was I can tell you they are really, really bad for you. I hope your day went better! |
Can I just say one more thing? :) I'm not trying to be rude and I don't blame you for being irritated, but try not to take it out on the girl at the window. She may have been new or may have been having a bad day. I work drive through, and I hate it, and people who are obviously having a bad day come through and make my day worse, and that's not fair to anyone. I'm sure she didn't mean to be rude. She may have had a headset on and was getting an order - there have been many times where I haven't been able to say anything to the customer ("Have a nice day") because either there is a long line of food waiting to be packed or there is another car waiting. It's more complicated than one might think (:p), and your question may have thrown her off. |
I went to Mcdonalds today and ordered 16 double cheese and they only gave us 14. Didnt find out till I got home,,,, next time I will count before I leave the parking lot.:D |
First off, I don't think I ***flamed*** you, but your comments were ***inflammatory*** I'm sure there are many people out there who read this thread, shook their heads, and moved on. I didn't. I still stand by my statement that it is **never** cool to knock someone for their weight, especially on a public forum. I find it difficult to believe that you knew what the man in front of your ordered, and that you were in the d/t or parking lot long enough to see him consume the food. There is no need to defend what you said...you said it...and it is over. Congratulations on your attempts to cut back and find a healthier lifestyle. That is never a bad thing. |
