No Longer a Member | Has anyone ever wanted to become an Interior Designer? If I could have my dream job, I would love to become a Interior Designer. Not that I'm any good or anything but it would be so cool to learn. If this is your passion, post some pictures of your wonderful work. I would love to see them. At least I could get some cool ideas. |

| Your home is so pretty and cozy looking. You certainly seem to have a talent for decorating. I love to decorate and put things together. It's fun and rewarding. I have no professional training I just think I have a knack for it. My daughter on the other hand has had training. She is a wonderful sewer. She does any kind of window treatment you can think of and has done many baby nurseries. Even matching headboards for master bedrooms. If this is something you love doing take some courses. Good luck to you, |

| I have always wanted to also. But there is no demand for that where I live. I absolutely love to decorate and redecorate! I am currently into the shabby chic look!

Senior Yorkie Talker | im actually a fashion merchandising major.. but my school doesnt continue the program to get your interior designer degree. i would have to go to LSU or UNO .. i do like the one interior design class that i am taking though. its alot of work.. but its fun. right now, we're creating our "dream room" and im doing a kitchen. its inspired by a picture i found on the home and garden website. the island is also a banquette and i absolutely LOVE it. but even though ive always loved to decorate, ive also have a love for biology. and i figure if i do the biology, i can always have the designing and decorating. so recently ive decided to change my major to microbiology for next semester |

| I started as an Interior Design major at Drexel, and the actual major is more of interior architecture than design "decorating". The only difference was IDs can't move load-bearing walls. I was more interested in the "fluff" than the structure, so it wasn't for me. |

| You can come do my house anytime! Your house looks nice and warm and cozy. As soon as we moved here, I realized that my furniture was too casual for the style of the house but to get new furniture is not an option. We moved here 3 years ago and I've yet to complete 1 room! There were circumstances as why things have not progressed as much as I wanted, but now I am on a mission to get this house done. I've been working on the guest room and just found the bedding after searching for months. Now I've got to make valances as the set didn't have much accessories.

No Longer a Member | I love color. I know they say keep everything neutral, I already had one of those houses with 30 foot ceilings and taupe paint. Needless to say, I didn't paint the greatroom. I was sick to death of taupe. The whole house was taupe and I started then to change to some other colors. We sold the house so when we bought this house, I wanted color. My greatroom and kitchen is all open, so the kitchen is olive too. I accented with bronze and black. It matches my greatroom furniture. I love dark colors in a house. I don't know why but I do. I do have some taupe too. My bedroom always have to stay dark because I don't like a lot of light in my bedroom. I wish other people would post pictures. I don't want to be the only one. |

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | I'll tell you, with money and a big house anyone could decorate, the merit is to do as well as you've done, on a budget and with what you already have. You said you were not good at it??? Girl, you are great, your place looks very nice and very tasteful.
