Finished Redecorating My Bedroom.... Finally!!

Seems to of taken me ages to decorate my bedroom but it's finally done and even the girls got new beds! Gypsy insisted hers went under the bed though because she's always loved to go curl up on a blanket in a box under there so now she has a nice padded wicker bed instead which she loves! :D

I'm undecided whether to put a couple of pictures in contrasting frames on the wall at the back of my bed just to break the pattern up a little. :confused: It's proving a very hard decision. lol

You've done a great job! I think contrasting frames would really make it pop!

It's beautiful, very serene and with great accent pieces. I really like your bedspread and how you've decorated the dresser/closet area. The girls and you will be comfy and cozy this winter!

I have some that are fabric covered and the same colour as the curtains, I'm still undecided. :confused:

Thank you. The vase with the flower in I put together myself and the dish has contrasting floating scented candles in i. I love the bedspread too, it wasn't my first choice, I was going to get a plain deep purple one but then I saw this one at the weekend and it was 10% off and satin, the pattern on it is simple and very similar to the one on the wall paper.

LOL, busted! :p There aren't many Ikea's in the UK but I'm very lucky to have one 25minutes away. The furniture is from there, the vase and the candle dish was from there too. Everything else is from various places...

The dog beds are from Ikea but they didn't have any nice pads to go inside them so I have 3 pillows in each of them with a blanket over the top to make them look like one big padded bed. The girls really love to be able to snuggle down into them. :D

I love IKEA! Isn't the dog bed HUGE?! We use ours for the dog toys.

Yep, it really is a bed big enough for like 3 Yorkies to snuggle in but mine won't share. :rolleyes: It was a steal too, I've never seen a bed that big that costs so little and I already had 6 spare pillows to pad them out and the blankets. My girls look lost in them. :rolleyes:

I really like it! it looks very calm, and natural. I like the natural colors. I REALLY like those cabinets with the white shaded glass that you can barely see thru, those are really neat. :bravo:

Thank you. I really like the cabinets too, it's hard to pick furniture and cuz the room isn't very big I wanted something that was light coloured and didn't look heavy, if you know what I mean.

Looks great. I wish we had an Ikea here. Closest one is in Georgia. We need to plan a trip there with a pick up truck. :) I want to re-do my son's room.

Are you too far out to order online and get delivery? I have no idea how far Georgia is from you. :rolleyes: Do they even do delivery over there?

I just picked everything up in my car. :laugh:

It's about 4 hours out. I just ordered a catalog. Online they don't give you the option to order a lot online. Hopefully I get it soon and can have a larger selection to choose from. Lucky you. :)
