Wow! That is AMAZING! I've always wanted to be able to learn a language. I REALLY want to be fluent in Spanish. I took spanish classes for 7 years in school (and 2 of those years was every single day) and I hardly learned anything - I've learned more working at Wendy's haha. But I'd like to. I think I'd be able to pick up on German quickly, because my friend is almost fluent in it and for some reason speaks it constantly. I'd like to learn American Sign Language. I'm fluent in English. :p |

Like most born Americans, we barely grasp the English language. :p Seriously--I wish we were forced to learn at least two other languages. I am learning French now though. |
English people are the same... As for the ''french''...I use to be good at it in school but now I can hardly remember anything!!! LOL |
I speak Spanish. :) I'm a Cuban girl born in Miami and all my family is from Cuba. So, I learned Spanish as my first language and learned English from watching TV and when I started school. I want to learn Italian SOOO bad. Because I know Spanish, it'll be easy I just don't have the time. I am looking to start school in the Spring, Maybe I'll take Italian. :) |

I've been to England and trust me they speak a different language. My DIL is Welsh and I can only understand her about half the time. |

I can order a beer in Spanish...and ask where the bathroom is. All you need to know. A HS teacher I had...her husband was stationed in Italy...so she wanted to send him a letter written in Italian...asked the Italian kid in class if he or his father could help. Well, only if she wanted to cuss at hubby...their Italian was limited like my french. |

I speak French and German-not fluently, but well enough to survive if stranded in either place and carry on a simple conversation. I've dabbled at Spanish and worked with some Mexican folks who were teaching me their language. German is a fun language - very gutteral and very long words:D. I would love to learn other languages, too. Yorkese would be one of them, then I'd know exactly what Roxy was saying to me when gets mad and gives me her little growlie noises:rolleyes:. |
Living in Quebec and it being a bilingual Province, French & English is almost a must if you want to be able to understand everyone, I also speak Hungary, Mom is the culprit there, plus picked up some Spanish on various trips and such, next language to be mastered is German, I work with girl from Switzerland and she speaks German, so that's what's next.. It's a lot of fun:) |
I know how to say "I love you" and "I hate you" in german lol |
I am in awe of people who speack foreign languages. I just don't get it. I speak English and am fluent in Dog and Horse. Before you laugh and make like of speaking "Dog" and "Horse" remember these are very subtle non-spoken languages made up of body movements and attitude. :D |
I speak english, and a little spanish. Which I learned from Dora:D (I have two kids) |
I speak Spanish and English, ohhh and puppy talk too that has to count :animal36 |
