I bought this bag for Layla- she needs a new spring carrying bag

PetEdge: East Side Collection Denim Pet Carriers

but it is definitly boring. Any idea how I can decorate it when it comes in? I want to use fresh spring colors- but just don't know where to start.

Sorry Marci I am totally not very creative but I would probably start by tying a bright, spring-colored sash around one of the shoulder straps. That way you can switch it out depending on what you're wearing!

I like the sash idea too! I would pick something really bright like a hot pink or lime green. If it were my bag, I'd probably outline the edges or the pockets with hot fix crystals.

Love that idea!! I also Love the denim bag Marci! You could also check out appliques in fabric stores or letters "Layla" to iron on. You can buy a liquid stitch that you could attach the appliques or letters which would be cute on the pocket flap. I also love looking at all the cute buttons in fabric stores whatever you like or themes such as beetle bugs, hearts, cupcakes, monkeys, beach themes, etc. You could just match it to her little personality! Have Fun!! We'd love to see the finished product!!

These are all great ideas! I would definitely do something with the straps and the pockets, glam it up a little.

Cutie pie buttons or iron on decals (then you have to hand wash).......or maybe some bows!
