OMG I don't even want to say what should be done with that no good for nothing person. Gesshhh this brings tears to my eyes...look at her. She's so innocent. I don't know what to say other than I can feel your pain right now. I would never rehome her to anyone ever again. If it ever came to that I highly recommend that you do criminal background checks and do a home visit before and after adoption. No way in earth would I let her go to another home with out knowing a little about the new families background. Poor baby I just can imagine what was going through her mind as she was being attacked. |
Thats why we got the police involved when he brought her back. The DA wants to press charges but is trying to figure out what he can do because it happened in a diff. county than we live in. I really do have some work ahead of me with her. Just getting the meds on and in her are going to be a struggle. Not to mention that little Baylee is picking on her now. Or trying to anyway. Im keeping my yorkies in another part of the house right now. I want to thank you all for all the kind words. I really do feel much better now that she has been seen. I was crying my eyes out yesterday blaming myself for the whole thing. if I hadn't let my hubby adopt her out this wouldnt have happened. But i relized that there really wasnt much I could have done to stop it. I will keep everyone updated on Lollie and how she is doing. She got up and was walking around a few min. ago. Her leg started bugging her so she went back to bed. |
Sooo sad to see this thread and the pictures. Thank God a vet did the right thing and cared for her and is working payments with you. Please, please, make sure this guy gets his butt thrown in jail, he may even lead the cops to other dog fighters. :mad: Send the message that this horrid ABUSE will NOT be tolerated. What a WEIRD situation. The guy adopts the dog and then brings her back as a 'return' because she needed medical care??? Why did he not take her to the vet at least, that is not really your responsibility is it? I mean I know you have a big heart and would do anything to take care of her but what kind of person just kind of drops an injured dog on a doorstep (so to speak?) what a JERK! Im glad she'll be ok! |

Oh look at that pathetic pup. May he rot in hell for doing this to an innocent dog. He probably wanted her to fight and when she got beat up he didn't want her any longer. Look on the bright side if you can. Thank the good Lord he returned her to you and did not throw her in a trash can like you see on animal planet. I am sure that will make you feel just a little better. She must have been terriorized! What a sick S O A B! Prayer's coming for her to regain her health and love you for the rest of her life. |
That poor baby!!!! Please keep a real close eye on her....she has been through so much in the last few days and I would also get on a pit bull forum and ask advice from others there. With every thing that she has been through you don't wanting her fearing other people or dogs. When our baby Lola came back she was scared of every thing except me. We had a lot to do to get her to trust and feel comfortable around others. Check out pitbull-chat.com....the people there are great and they may be able to get you advice on what to do next to make her feel more comfortable and trusting. If she is going to be there with you and your other dogs, you need to know that everyone will be safe. Let me know if you need anything and my heart and prayers are with you and your baby!!! |

I just want to add to that... let's tie him from the genitals mother f...r:mad: Here in Houston if you lead to the arrest of someone who has been fighting a dog you can get rewarded 5k. I'm not sure if every city has the same "incentive" for reporting dog fighters. Most dogfighters would not return the dog. They would leave it to die or kill it. He would be stupid to return her unless she wouldn't fight and he thought you would believe his story. I don't see how they can prosecute him for dogfighting if there is no proof. It's his word that she got into a fight with another dog. If there are no witnesses he will probably get away with it. |
