Thank you Patti, for the words of encouragement. I have no boubt all will be ok. Every day that we live is another chance to get it right. I hold on to this and has gotten me thru some pretty rough situations. I will continue to pray for you and Jack for your health and happiness. Your are truly a special lady.

You have all been so sweet to me. I look forward to going home tomorrow and check things out first hand for myself. My son called, they had just made it back from Mt. Pleasant. That's where they evacuated to..they have to be near a hospital that is equiped for Nathan (my grandson with the pacemaker I had told you all about a few months ago) just in case. They got out days before the storm. Anyway, they came home to black mold everywhere. Luckily, his wife's mom lives nearby so they have a place to stay. If you would keep them in your prayers too.

Hoping to get back to work wednesday. This has really been an ordeal, but i wasn't alone, thanks for that. Tomorrow is a new day.;)

It was great talking to you Sunday and even better reading now that you will be headed home soon. Glad that your home is still there and that your power is back on.

Our electricity is still out, the heat is getting unbearable, I'm considering getting my 2 furkids shaved ....:eek:

God be with you on your way back home, may He send angels to you to help repair your home soon.

I wake up each morning and check my thread. Now, when i read it, it just makes my day..thanks guys. We should be getting on the road around 1pm.:)

Denise, I am so happy you will finally get to go home! I know you dread what you may find, but sometimes it's not nearly as bad as you imagine. Please, please be careful and know that we are all praying for a good outcome for you and your children. God bless and protect all of you!

Yeah!!!! Homeward bound! I wish you safe travels and hope everything gets back to normal as soon as possible down there. :)

Just wanted everyone to know..
 
That we are leaving for home now. The cell that I have been using is my Dad's so I won't have it after tomorrow. Villette has my home number. Thanks again for everything, I did find out we traveled almost 300 hundred miles so don't know how long it will take to get home. Have a great day everyone, you deserve it. :)

Drive and be safe. I hope and pray you don't find too much damage to
your home and property. I can't imagine going through what you just
experienced. Your very strong girl, thank heavens for that.

Has anyone gotten any word on Denise and children getting home?

Denise, Andy, and Amy we are keeping you each in our thoughts and prayers, that the trip home went smooth.
We were so happy to hear your older son, and family all got back safely.
Hope your furbabies did well traveling home.
