I am so sorry for all that you have gone thru. :( This is the lst time I've been on YT since Friday. I am so glad to hear that your house is still there. :) I will keep you and your family in my prayers. :hands: Take Care.... |
Hi Denise and Children, We are praying things will be all clear for you and your family to be able to return home real soon. Please know that our prayers will continue on for you. Many returning home are going to have a lot to deal with but knowing the wonderful character of the Texan folks, those that are able will be pitching in to help another with the cleaning up. How is your fur babies doing? What a wonderful vet there in Waco, to care for them without charging is truely showing dedication to his/her profession. We are so thankful that their are those willing to give from their hearts to help others out. We never know from one day to the next when any of us could be confronted with having to go through things such as you have, if ever I have to, I pray that I will be as strong as you have been. Oh my gosh, when I reread all that you went through continuing on to get to Waco, I can only say what a brave lady you are. Your love for your Son and Daughter and seeing first to their needs, how very blessed they are to have a Mother like you. We will not only be praying for your well being but also the financial situation you are having to deal with. I truely belive you will be able to handle whatever, with your strong faith, knowing God will be over seeing all that you are confronted with, HE will provide your needs. Your Friends, Patti and Jack and Girls. |
Denise, Please know that our prayers are with you and your family! What an ordeal!! |
I'm hoping the best for you and your family, and am so sorry you have to go through this. Keeping you guys in my thoughts and prayers, you are a strong person and I can tell you will make it out of this terrible situation. |
Waking up each morning and going to bed each night, reading the words of encouragement from you sweet ladies is keeping me lifted up. Thank you just doesn't do it justice. I pray God blesses you 7 fold. I'm guessing right now I'm the little sparrow He has His eye on, and it truly warms my heart. I'm hoping for the rest of our small city to have power by tomorrow so we might get to start home by tomorrow evening. I'm nervous about going home but I have faith that the powers that be that led us here safely will lead us home the same way. We will handle what comes our way one day at a time. It's going to be a beautiful day, I feel good and full of hope ;). I feel the weight off my shoulders having found that I really do have friends. There are really people behind these cute lil screen names with big hearts. I will never forget the strength and support being given me :). |
I'm so glad for you that things are feeling more manageable for you....I hope your back home soon ......it is so inspiring to see so many Y.T. friends caring and sharing for their cyber friends....... |

I feel so bad for you......I have my father and sister with me. We lost 4 houses in Bridge City. We found a local church here in Katy Tx. They are helping with food and gas money. Maybe if you found a church in the area you are in. Between them and YT members it has helped so much! We move everything out of my sisters house and father home. We save very little , mostly family photos on the walls and we dried a few photo albums. Its really hard. I heard 80% of the beaumont area has electricty. When we were there yesterday there were actually a few restuarants open. We gutted two houses and retreived a few items from two trailors. Mounds of my familys life sitting out for garbage. :(:(:( My father broke down several times. I know it's hard but it puts it in perspective as we drove by the Bridge City bridges and search and rescue was searching for bodies in the marsh area. It was not my family that the canine rescue unit was searching for. It was not my entire family found in an attic on Fernwood in Bridge City. I am STILL blessed......Hurricane Ike did not take my family. Only stuff that can be replaced! God Bless your family and keep them in his hands. I'll pray for you! Pam K |
You have been thru so much if theres anything I can do to help please let me know. I pray you will be back on your feet in no time and everything gets returned to normal for you soon! God Bless you and your family. |
