| Stupid theives!!! Night before last, our lawnmower was stolen from the side of our house. Last night, they stole about $1,000 worth of tools from the back of DH's truck. I told him so many times to put that stuff in the garage every night, but he thought because we've lived here for over 6 years with no problems that it would never happen You'd think the lawnmower being stolen would have tipped him off DUH! So now he's all mad. I wonder if our homeowner's insurance would cover any of this? He did go and file a police report this morning. Hmmmmm

| That stinks! I would think insurance would cover it- I hope so. I had my phone charger stolen from my car once and I was furious over that little thing so I can imagine how mad y'all are.

| Wow. I have a condo in Stuart, Fl. I thought that was such a nice, safe area. I guess the crooks are everywhere. Sorry about your loss. I would be SO mad. I wonder if it was the same crook both times? Put something valuable out there and hide in the bushes with a zapper! Nevermind..

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Yeah you can file a claim with your homeowner's. Still stinks though. We had 3 mowers stolen from work. So when our lastest mower...died..the guys left it out hoping someone would tote it off. Never happened...thieves don't want broken mowers either.

| That stinks! How some people just take from other's dries me up the wall. My house was robbed and I lived in a very nice community. They stole all my jewerly. Everything! It wasn't the jewerly that hurt but the memories that were attached to so many of the pieces I would never see again. I told one of the cops who came I hoped they died a very slow death! He looked at me like I said something wrong! You can't stop these kinds of people unless they are caught and put behind bars. Trouble is when they get out they do it again. Sorry, |

| Sorry that happened to you...it makes me so mad. We had a lot of tools and pressure washer and air compressors stolen a couple months ago...they even stole john deere yellow and caterpillar yellow spray paint...anyway, our insurance covered it. A few years ago someone stole our tractor trailor truck with the trailor attached and our dozer on it...all three, we got the truck back minus the trailor and dozer..... If could get my hands on the dirty theivesI would tear them apart. |

| Oh my gosh, I am sooo sorry. I know EXACTLY how mad and violated you feel. We had our brand new truck stolen from our driveway a year ago one morning, it was devestating. We live in a very nice community and a nice neighborhood, but it just doesn't matter. I hope you guys can find these horrible people and press charges. Good luck!

| That's horrible! It is a very sick feeling to feel like you and your belongings are not even safe in your own home. Why can't people just go out and get a dang JOB! |

LunasMomma - that really sucks and it sounds like it must be the same people if it happened 2 nights in a row - Do you have a video camera ? You probably could bust them on tape if you set them up and Carol - I'm so sorry about your jewlery - that had to really hurt ....the theft plus knowing someone was in your house .... EDITED TO ADD - I didn't see the other posts - man - It sounds like if someone didn't get robbed they're a minority these days. I remember being broken into and they stole all my kids Nitendo and games - my tv and music and a few other things. It had to be teens... but man I was PISSED. My oldest son was so sad losing the pride of his toys
