It's easy to not have a problem with Barack's policy.....he hasn't created a single piece of policy his entire political career. |
I don't know about you gals and guy, but I think I'm voting for Paris Hilton  |
One of the best sources on the internet to check these stories (and those weird emails you get) is Urban Legends Reference Pages. They spend a lot of time and effort researching all this stuff and are quite reliable. I urge all of you to check it out. My name is nancyfancypants, and I approved this message. :D |

I like snopes also but you don't have to check what's come out of the horse's mouth. Cinq: To review my personal problems with her policy and ethics see the link in post one.;) I had never seen this site before today but I do watch the news, read the newspaper and have read and watched interviews with Palin herself. Everything on that site has been covered- and much of it is from Palins mouth. These may fit fine with your values, we are different, but surely no one has trouble seeing how her values are a big problem for some. |
This is a great non-partisan website that helps sort the truth from the fiction this political season. FactCheck.org |
There's alot of his (obama's) stuff he's not opening up to much about either, everyone needs to look at his "plan" very close & then look at it again, he wants to do away with the cap on certain taxes which means anyone that makes over 99,000 a year could be taxed to hell & back, trust me I've paid my dues financially-I've been way beyond broke b/f & I hope to never be there again- as they say read some of the stuff he's wrote -communism & socialism-will come to your mind. I remember just like yesterday seeing his interview on oprah & her telling him to run for president-the hair on my neck stood up. The fact of all the celebrity "push" makes me just as sick- first off they are already over-paid & now they want to "rock" the vote too, I'm sure b/c of their status they know exactly what's best for america??? I hope no one takes offense I'm not repl. through & through-I voted for Gore & cried when he had that campaign taken (ie, stolen) from him but I do for alot of reasons fully bel. john mccain is the next step for this country. My opionion, not meant to sway or make anyone do anything. Not affialiated w/mccain/palin either ;)..... |
John McCain voted with GW 90% of the time. He is on the record for saying he does not believe in regulation. He has helped create this mess. Now the economy is going down the tubes and suddenly he decides he is going to be a reformer and regulate the financial markets. In this case, I prefer to vote for the devil I don't know rather than for the devil I do know with a repeat of the last 8 years. My 401k can't afford a repeat of yesterday, little lone the last 8 years. Do your own research and vote your conscience. |
What happened to the no politics rule on YorkieTalk?? <keeping mouth shut- don't want to get into trouble, but it's really hard not to say anything! > ;) One question- how is all of that "shocking info"???? That stuff is all that the Democrats have been focusing on since McCain chose Palin as running mate?? Also, I can see how one could feel that hunting by air is cruel and unfair- but you must never have seen a dog, horse, cow or other pet killed or maimed by a pack of wolves. Not eaten, just maimed. I understand full-well that it is a part of life and the cycle of nature, however, when people of protecting species that are thriving, and "introducing" endangered animals, they are screwing with nature. It doesn't work. I'm going to quit there.... |

Check Urban Legends Reference Pages to see if it is accurate or not. They are very reliable. |
She Represents D3 She is a conservative, she represents the heartfelt beliefs of millions of Americans(60% read on) who might otherwise sit home in disgust and not vote....that is why she must be stopped at any cost. She has awakened a sleeping giant. The same giant that gave Ronaldus Magness two landslide victories. Bruce Walker, writing at the AmericanThinker.com says the Battleground Poll and particularly question D3 is crucial to understand this country. He says, "I always zip past this data in the first fifteen pages of poll results," from the Battleground Poll. The Battleground poll, by the way, is the bipartisan poll, Ed Goeas on the Republican side, Celinda Lake on the Democrat side, and their questions never change. They're consistent and it is a poll with a great track record. "I have been tracking Question D3 for a long time, since June 2002, in thirteen straight Battleground Poll results. Americans respond to this question more consistently than to any other question in those thirteen Battleground Poll surveys. People may change their opinions dramatically about Iraq or President Bush or drilling for oil, but not their answer to Question D3." "What is Question D3 and what were the results to Question D3 in the August 20, 2008 Battleground Poll? It is this: 'When thinking about politics and government, do you consider yourself to be… Very conservative, somewhat conservative, moderate, somewhat liberal, very liberal, unsure/refused. In August 2008, Americans answered that question this way: (1) 20% of Americans considered themselves to be very conservative; (2) 40% of Americans considered themselves to be somewhat conservative--" That adds up to 60% who consider themselves conservative. Two percent said they considered themselves to be moderate, the independents, the great moderates in American History. Two percent of the American people consider themselves to be moderates, and yet we're told that they are 20% of the electorate. Twenty-seven percent said they were somewhat liberal, and 9% said they were very liberal. That's a total of 36% to 60. Sixty percent conservative, 30% liberal. Question D3, Battleground Poll, five days ago. Three percent of Americans did not know or refused to answer. Now, as Mr. Walker writes here: "Sixty percent of Americans considered themselves conservative. Does this mean that most Americans do not know what 'conservative' means? No: The question specifically provides an out to people who are not sure about their ideology; it provides an out to people who want to be considered 'moderate.'" If you don't know that you're conservative or liberal, you can always put moderate. Americans reject the choice of moderate. "They overwhelmingly define themselves as 'conservative.' " |
