Greek Pizza (gotta thank IzzyPrincess for this one) Pita bread cut into two circles, or pita flat bread - brush with olive oil and put under broiler for about a minute. Top with veggies (I like mushrooms, spinach, tomatoes and green pepper), crumbled feta cheese and Zatar seasoning, sprinkle a little more olive oil. Place under broiler again for about 1 1/2 minutes. VOILA!!!!!! Low-fat, healthy and tastes great!!!!!!!!!!! |
Raw Tabouli Salad 1/4 C Quinoa, soak overnight, drain excess water, spread on plate and let sprout for a day or two Use 1-2 bunches of curlie Parsley and a few sprigs of Mint and chop finely (or use food processor). Add onions and tomatoes to taste, also chopped finely. Add sprouted Quinoa, olive oil and fresh lemon juice to taste. Again, super easy, very healthy for you, and tastes great!!!! Quinoa is also a complete protein, so this can easily be a meal in itself!!! |

OMG OMG OMG I just has a Sunshine veggie burger, the herb one and it was sooooo GOOD! I ate it with whole wheat burger buns and i put lettuce, tomato, mushrooms, and ketchup and it was perfect!! Ever since ive been a vegetarian ive been eating the best things, i love it. I also bought the Amy burgers and mornign star but havent tried them yet, but theres no soy in the sunshine ones so thats good. I also bought the quorn fake chicken buffalo but havent tried them, i think tom. i will! lol |

Im gluten intolerant, so I eat a lot of rice. And Ive tried to be creative. I make veggie california rolls (sushi). Put the nori (dried seaweed) on a bamboo roller, add sticky rice (rice with sugar/sushi vinegar), then put on strips of cooked carrot, cucumber, and zuchini. Then I add cream cheese and roll it up. Its so good! We had Quorn Chik'n Nuggets for dinner and they were so good! They were very comparable to actual chicken nuggets. Tomorrow night we are going to have the Naked Chik'n Cutlets. :) I'm excited! I think I've finally found a meat alternative that I actually like! |
