Quick Photoshop questions - Frames? How do I put a frame or border around a picture? I have Elements 6. THANKS!!!!!! |
Anyone??? :) |
Don't have photoshop, I use paint shop pro. I think I read that V uses photoshop. In paint shop pro, you just go to "image" and a menu will open with the option of " Picture Frame". Does it have a help feature, with a search function? |
Hhmmm...they have a help and I have search borders and frames and I'm coming up with nothing . So weird. You would think there would just be like you said. |
figured it out! |

I found it. For those who wonder about creating frames in Photoshop 7.0 here it is: 1. open your photo 2. create a new document with a white background. This should be the size you want your picture to be 3. move the picture over 4. Ctrl + T (this is a the transform command) make sure the layer selected is the picture 5. move the sides in until you get the desired boarder size |

with PS though - you can bevel your pics to make them stand out on the background (border) they also have drop shadows etc - |
How I did it What I did was open up the software...go over to the far right hand corner and click CREATE and then cleck on ARTWORK and that opens up all kinds of cool stuff! |
There's also another way .... Go over to the "Layers" pallet, and click on the layer of the photograph. This will open up the effects window and there's one called "Stroke" - this is the border. You can change thr color, size, etc. all right here. |
Great tips! |
