Good luck with school. Right now I am off work, well I quit, due to a dog bite and then treating me like sh** but I am going to go back to school to better my knowledge as a landscape designer. I love working with plants and stuff. But I also do mobile grooming and I train horses. |
I am an Executive Assistant for the CEO & Chairman of the Board of a global telecommunications company. |

WOW! Great job! It has taken me 4 years to get this far and I still have 1 more to get my B.S. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I went back to school late...did you got to college right out of high school? I'm impressed! :D |
middle school is my OCCUPATION. Friends are the PERKS. sleeping and sucking-up is my JOB |
What I do. I graduated in 2002 from Purdue University (Go Boilers!!!!) with a BA in Sociology. I stayed In West Lafayette for a year after I graduated while my husband got some work experience as a Manager(he graduated in 2000 from Purdue with a BS in Management). I got to be friends with the Community Manager at the Apt's we lived in and when she got promoted she recommended me for her job so for that year we were in West Lafayette I was a Community Manager, I really liked it so when we moved to Miami I wasn't fluent in spanish yet so I couldn't find a job in my field so I stayed in Property management and unless I find a market research job now that I am almost fluent in spanish I think I am going to get my real estate license. but I'm always looking for new and exciting opportunities! |
I feel pathetic...you all have great jobs and I'm a waitress at a resteraunt & bar. I LOVE my job. ( I know that sounds dumb) but I have a really good time. I'm 28 years old, and have done nothing with my life....now I'm depressed! I didn't even finish a full year of college. Oh well, life goes on! :) |
My degree is in public relations, and I'm currently doing PR, event planning, and fundraising work. |
I am a hair stylist!!!! AKA--therapist, councelor, psychiatrist, the person that they tell everything to, problem solver, and advise giver!!!! hehehe!!! No, but seriously- I love that I get to be creative, and stay up on all the fashions and talk all day long!!!!!!! |
I'm currently a student majoring in business/economics, going to UC San Diego (Management Science Major) next month but thinking of trying again for UCLA or Cal as SD doesn't accomodate well to my educational goals. I'm a business owner. I distribute and manufacture a variety of things (mainly cosmetics and pigmentation machinery). I'm trying to score a real estate and contractors license so I can do that as a hobby or on the side. I used to own a web hosting company and designed webpages but sold the company a few years back. Such diversity here on YorkieTalk. :) |
last September i quit my job to stay at home full time to take care of my son and hubby. before that I worked in commercial real estate, magazine publishing and then worked for a chiropractor, running his office. I'll probably return to work in the next few months but am also thinking about getting certified as a pilates teacher and going to school to study nutrition. |

For my full time job I am an aide at the local high school. I work with kids with learning disabilities and I've been doing it for 13 years. It's rewarding and frustrating at the same time. I also coach the High School Envirothon Team which is my pet project! I've been doing that for about 14 years. It's an environmental learning program where we teach materials supplied by the county conservation district. Materials are from 5 areas, wildlife, forestry, aquatics, soils, and a current event topic that changes every year. There's a county competition and who ever wins that goes to state competition and who ever wins that goes to nationals. It's a great program!! I also work part time at a financial consulting firm doing payroll for some of their corporations. Keeps me busy! |
I am a shipping coordinator for a zinc manufactor by day. Than on nights and weedends I am a volunteer EMT for the town I live in. |

I think that's awesome Kristy! I too went straight from high school to becoming a nurse.. It feels good being only 19 and accomplishing a lot (compared to my brothers).. I probably wouldn't have done it if it weren't for my BF. |
I'm a Project Manager for a Pharmaceutical Marketing company. And, of course a wife and mom. (that's the tough job!) |
I am a weather observer and have been for 6 years. I've been going to school off and on for a Bachelors in Professional Aeronautics, but not at the moment. Other than that, my job is keeping Merlot healthy and happy and more importantly, out of trouble! |
I am a fashion designer for the LImited Corp. I also work with my husband in his Healthcare recruiting business placing Healthcare managment professionals all over the country. |
i am a customer service agent for a frt forwarding company working for 16 years at same job , outside of jfk international airport. |
I am the office manager at an auto body repair shop,,been here 13 years in Jan. ( get to bring my dog to work,, so that is a big plus) :D |
I'm a Customer Service Rep for an online shopping network. It's a job and it helps us pay some bills but I'd love to finaly get my degree in marketing after I give birth :) It's a very casual job and I get a doze of laugh everyday from wacky customers :D My husband is a softare engineer and (i'm so proud to say this... pardon me if I get annoying eheheheheh) he graduated when he was only 19!!! can u believe that? he's a great guy and he's been pushing me to get my degree. I envy everyone here who's loving and pursuing their careers. I don't think there'll be anything as rewarding as that. |
I am currently a law clerk, aka slave to the attorneys, at a large construction/commercial litigation firm, I am also a third year law student and will be graduating in May 2006. After graduation I will be taking a couple of bar exams and joining my firm in the construction/land use division as an associate attorney aka slave to the partners! |

I work at a family practice office. I am the lead receptionist and pretty much do all the front office stuff. Been there for about 8 years. |
I also have a degree in Sociology, could not get a decent paying job. So for 15 years now ,I have been working as a Multi Line Insurance Adjuster- Property, Casualty, Auto, Litigation and Construction Defect. Both inside and Field Rep. Very Interesting..and a challenge! Pays well and good bennies too. |
I graduated in May 2004 with three degrees, a BS in Public Policy, a BS in Criminal Justice and an Associates Degree in Letters, Arts, and Sciences, all in 4 years time. I am planning on attending law school in the fall of 2006 to pursue a career as a prosecuting attorney with hopes of becoming a future D.A. or of sitting on the Bench. I also want to continue my schooling with the intent of also teaching, either at the University or Law school level. I began on this road later than most, but fortunately it's never too late to pursue your dreams. I am currently a stay at home mommy to our 9 month old son, hence the break in school attendance. I am enjoying being with my little man but am going stir crazy, waiting anxiously to jump back into my studies!! At the moment my mind is also focused on our moving into our new home. We have settlement on August 26th...so excited to get in there :D |
