That's so good that most of them found homes!

If I was the person adopting and there were only two left, I wouldn't have the heart to leave one behind... especially at $10, I would have taken both!

Oh I wish I could help out those poor babies.... I'd be a dead woman if I brought another animal into this house though.

That is good that they will all find homes. But I think they should have kept more in Parkersburg for the people there to adopt though.

ya they must have their reasons because it sayed in the paper they already had 300-400 applications sumitted so far before they even let the(public)see the dogs (sat.) and their was a large crowed it was on front page of (sun) paper.There was a lot of outsiders on this but the pound has a new director(Mary Hollis)and she isnt from here.They had a big thing in(Sun)paper about her (go figure)anyways.....Im glad everyone came together for all these dogs as they did

Last week Cataholic posted this thread. Well, today I weathered hurricane Hanna just so that my extended family could yet again be extended. Sandy, although not a Yorkie, is the newest member of my fur family!!! My sister in law is so over joyed to have her as her new baby and spoiling her already! She could not wait to call every one else in our family to tell them about Sandy. Just see for yourself...

Hello,

I am searching to add another dachshund to our family of one already. I have been approved by the DRCA (dachshund rescue of central America), but they do not have any that I am interested in yet. I live in Indiana, but would travel for the right one. Who can I contact for more information?
