What did you dream about last night?
 
OK, so I read a thread about a dream someone had and it got me to thinking about some of the bizarre dreams I've had. If I have bizarred dreams, then that means all of YOU must have them too.

So question is: What did you dream about last night?

I dreamed that there was a leopard/jaguar in my yard and I was watching it. (Now since there are no leopards in Alabama...) It was my yard, but it wasn't my yard...What was my yard in the dream in reality is actually a section of land off the highway about 3 miles down the road.:confused:

Dreams can be so strange.....Did you ever have one of those dreams where something very unpleasant happens in it, like an argument or a bad event, and when you wake up you can't shake the unpleasant feelings all day long, your emotions feel as if the event really happened?...


For the past year I haven't been sleeping much so I don't dream much.....I'm usually up and outside with the boys at 2 and 3 in the morning. :confused:

Oh yes, I have dreams like that too! I dream alot of times that my husband did something that made me REALLY mad and I wake up mad at him because the emotions were soooo real. He'll finally ask me what is wrong and I say, "Well, I'm mad at you because of what you did in my dream last night.":p

I use to have this scary dream it was about a snake bitting me. Then my ex-would call about something anyway this went on for several years. Now that my ex-passed away I don't have them anymore.

Can you explain this...?

I rarely dream, just go right to sleep.
However, I did have a sick dream about two months ago and it took
me day's to stop crying. Now with this thread I remembered it again.
I drempt I put Buddy into the oven for dinner and he just layed down
on the rack willingly because we had nothing else to eat for dinner.
I can remember the look of sadness on his face and in his eyes!
How sick is this? I never, ever dream. I woke up shaking and crying.
I felt so guilty for days and I cried evertime I thought about how sick
that was. What in the world could make a person think of something
like this? I can't believe I am even sharing this. I have never had such
a sick, weird dream in all my life.

P.S. Aren't you sorry you asked!

omg. Now my eyes are tearing up!! Especially the part about him lying there willingly. :cry: I can just picture his eyes. Now I need to go blow my nose! :rolleyes:

I dont know why, but i have alot of deams about babies and pregnancy. I guess it's bc my DH and I have been discussing when we want another one. Well i Had a dream that I had a little boy and they took him away to "check" on him. Well later on when i started asking to see him. Well to make a long story short i found out that MY PREACHER and my DH SOLD him to another family. then i proceeded to try and murder my husband. lol

Crazy right?

When I started reading this thread it made my heart jump into my throat when I saw the word 'leopard'. I've had a recurring dream for as long as I can remember about being chased by a black leopard. Sometimes if i'm dreaming about something else there is often a black leopard somewhere in the dream even if it's not the focus of the dream (for example up in a tree that i walk past, or walking along in the distance) I've looked it up in 'dream meaning' books and it says that it means a fear of being betrayed or 'trying to supress desires' (ooh err;)) but to this day I still dont know what it really means or why they are in my dreams so often.

Last night the only thing I remember about my dream was going to get the mail and a Netflix moving came! :rolleyes:

Night before last...I guess DH and I were arguing in my dreams and I yelled outloud...woke me up..."Well you can put your own ****** dishes in the sink, then!" :cool:

Well if it's any consolation, the leopard in my dream was spotted!

Ah...things we "say" in our sleep....now that's another subject altogether! HA!

LOL, I had a dream years ago that made me so mad at my husband I woke up actually smacking him on his back and shoulders.:eek: I am not a hitter- had never hit anyone before that and haven't since but I guess for those few moments in my sleep state, I was a hitter. The really bad part is I hit him a few times even after I woke up- I was so mad and disoriented. Poor thing, luckily I'm a very wimpy hitter and didn't hurt him.:D I really did feel terrible though- luckily he's very understanding,

I have very bizarre dreams very often. I had one the other night that my friend (my ex's sister whom Im still close to) invited me to her wedding and my ex was there obviously and she kept doing things to keep him & I in the same place. Making us help her on the same project together, etc.. She told me she wanted us back together and he was going along with her, looking at me all the time with this pleading look in his eyes and I just kept saying "NO NO NO NO, HELL NO!" LOL

Last week, I dreamed I had a baby!!!! (An immaculate conception AND past menopause...very rare indeed. ;))

OMG CAROL! I had dreams almost EXACTLY like this before. I was torn apart for days... just hugging my baby and I woke up crying! I dreamt that a woman put my fletcher in a pot of boiling water bc I couldn't do it and I was crying. When she thought he was 'done', she dumped it on the floor and he crawled out alive and burn and blistered with patches of hair gone and the SADDEST look in his eyes, he clearly was asking me why I didnt love him anymore. I picked him up and was crying and trying to ease his burns and take away his pain and help him. UUUUGGGHHHH it was HORRIBLE!!!!! I woke up crying and just kept hugging and kissing him. He must have thought I was NUTS! LOL

Ever have a dream that when you wake up you are convinced that it actually happened? When I was younger I used to have frequent dreams that I had a pet elephant. :p

Last night I had a dream that I overslept my doctor's appointment and the receptionist wasn't sure if I could still come in even though I was only a few minutes late. I yelled at her for not letting me come in and trying to charge me anyway. :D

That has been happening a lot lately to me. Last weekend in the Keys I dreamed both Saturday and Sunday morning that I woke up and looked at the clock and it was almost 11:00 and I went back to sleep. Both days I woke up and jumped out of bed thinking I was sleeping my mini vacation away and it was only 8:00. I was so sure I had woken up and seen it was 11:00- I couldn't believe it was a dream. I must have also had a dream in the last few days that I was telling Lauren about a new eyeshadow formula I saw and she was saying it wasn't worth the money. I thought it really happened and mentioned it last night and she had no idea what I was talking about. I think I'm losing it.:p

I was sick for day's. How the mind works is weird!
I probably was talking about cooking to a co-worker and being on YT
and my so-called brain put the two together. I hope!

Oh I know... I had my dream when we were in the middle of planning a big 30th bday party for my friend that was going to be a lobsterbake. So I guess thats why I boiled him in a lobster pot.... I probably had the party on my mind a lot back then. But I don't know why HIM. ssshhh heres the secret, I have 2 yorkie boys. And secretly I have a REALLY soft spot in my heart for my Fletcher. Everyone loves my Dex, he is sweet and cuddly and tiny, but Fletcher is bigger, and totally OCD, plus hes afriad of everything. People don't give him as much attention as they do Dexter. Soooo my fletcher is MY baby, I just adore him more than I can put into words. Sooooo WHY HIM?? LOL Not that I would have wanted to see either of my babies in that pot! But I do have 2 and I wonder why my brain picked the one that I am partial to. (is that horrible that Im partial to one of my dogs???) You'd never know because Im holding dexter and cuddling him 24/7 but its because hes needy like that. I have to, else he cries on my leg all day! haha I love him too! :)

ok phew! Glad Im not the only one. Sometimes I just feel like my fletcher is kind of left out when others want to hold and cuddle my dex. My Dex is just sooo darn cuddly, hes like a little baby, resting his head on your shoulder and just finds a lap to sleep on. Fletcher is just such a SWEET SWEET baby. But hes kind of crazy, high strung I guess you'd say, so people get annoyed with him. I just adore him and his quirky personality! :D

We're kind of like that too. Everyone always loves Spike best and I understand why. He has an adorable personality and is sweet to everyone but Sugar is my baby.

I dreamed that my 10 year old niece and I were walking up a hill to the Library of Congress....pushing my husband in a stroller!! :eek::confused: I have never been to the Library of Congress, and it is not on my list of "things to do" ! LOL

When you hear the words leopard/jaguar, what words come into your mind. Thing of as many words as you can, and list them in importance.
