 diabetes...
So i have been having some medical problems basically my whole life, and i'm one of those ppl who doctor's can never find anything wrong with me or its something extreme!! go figure lol
well i have had my monthlies lol since May, which is bad! haha and i finally mustered up the courage to go to the doctor expecting to be told i was pregnant...well my doc ordered a whole blood panel. checking everything from my thyroid to blood sugar and so on...well the blood work came back and my blood sugar levels were elevated, my fasting insulin levels were elevated, and my liver blood cell counts or whatever was bad too! real quick, i was in the hospital for a few days back in December of 07 because my gallbladder and liver was acting crazy and my blood cell was all off and so on ....
well anyways here i am, went to my regular doctor's today to discuss the blood work and i have to go get more drawn tomorrow to check the same stuff, fasting insulin and blood glucose and stuff.
and she tells me, if you're not a diabetic then ur blood sugar should be less than 100, if u are diabetic is should be around 126..well she gave me a finger prick test and it was 147! so yea lol....
basically i hve to get the blood work tomorrow and if its above 126 then i do have diabetes and we'll go from there, and if its under 126, then i have to go get a 2 hour GTT done and then go from there....
we'll see what happens. but diabetes would explain SO MUCH!!!! so it sounds bad but im kind of hoping it turns out to be that, that way im not still having all these problems and further away from the answers as to why, ya know...
but i'll keep yall updated!
