I just got gas today for $2.89. I actually felt like I was getting a steal - pretty sad huh!

I am blessed to have a wonderful husband who sees that our vehicles tanks are filled, so I usually don't have a clue what gas is locally. Today, while riding with a friend, she pointed out gas prices as we passed a station .... [drum roll please!!!] ... $2.75 in Grand Junction, CO!!!

The average now is about 2.57-ish. The cheapest I've seen is 2.53!

Isn't that sweet! You know, I can't remember my mom ever filling a gas tank. There was always a sweet old man that ran a small gas station and he would fill it for you. Sadly, that kind of service has gone by the wayside.... unless I guess you go for a full service kind of station. Now my dad always fills it for her. Not that she doesn't know how.... it's just one of those sweet things he does. But shoot, if I had to depend on a man to fill up my gas tank every 3-4 days, I'd never get anywhere!

Gas on the outskirts of College Station, TX is $2.49!

I ask hubby he said gas is.... $3.20 here.

I just saw 2.99 for Shell here in Sacramento. I definitely filled up the tank. Weird though because other Shells around the area still have their prices at around 3.15-3.25.

I saw 2.85 in Melbourne, FL this morning!
I own a gift shop in Suntree, FL & the lower gas prices are not bringing the shoppers out! BoooHooo.
