crystal light? Hey, I started drinking Crystal Light a couple months ago. I never drink the amount of water each day that I am supposed to cause I find it boring lol, so this tasted good! I've started getting headaches more often now and the occasional chest pain so I looked on the internet and read that Aspartame can cause symptoms like this...has anyone had headaches or anything from drinking Crystal Light, or drinks with aspartame? Just curious! |
I try to avoid aspartame. I prefer Splenda now and I used to use Equal. |
i would lower your crystal intake. my verrry odd teacher has gone to the hospital for sever chest probss . he drinks diet coke [has aspratane]sp?] alot! well he was fired at the end of the year , so i wont see him again (THANK GOD) |
try not to drink too much crystal light, ...........lol...... like you i did teh same thing since i wasnt getting my usual water intake, the best thing you can drink that wouldnt have that stuff in it would be iced tea (the sun tea kind you make yourself) |
If I'm not mistaken, there is some type of Crystal Light made with Splenda. I buy the little packets that you just pour into bottled water. Sunrise Orange is my favorite :) |
about 3 months ago i started using the crystal light to go and i was drinking 4 20 oz's a day soon after than i noticed a ton of abdominal cramping went to the doctor thought i had a UTI or bladder infection couldnt find anything they thought i had some bacteria in my uterus so i took tons of pills. then i started thinking about it hmm this pain started about the same time so i quit drinking it and the pain went away....so dont know if this helps but this is what happened to me |
Aspertame is bad news!!!!! My sister honestly believes it contributed to her developing Lupus and now she is disabled and in pain all the time. I'd steer clear of any product that contains it. |
OH MY GOD! It's like the only thing I drink lately. Crap! Ok I don't like water either, I think it's boring but now what's my choice :( Splenda is also bad. I heard on the news like a few months back, that it's been known to cause tumors, and it contains an ingredient that is like bleach. |
I know, I've only been drinking it too. Now I have to settle for just plain water  If my headaches go away soon then I'll know it was from the aspartame |
I drink propel sometimes, when i don't want plain water. I also used to drink that carbonated stuff they have a walmart, sam's choice brand. Like a zillion falvors of it. THe lime stuff kinda tastes likesprite, but it's water. |
I get Terrible headaches from Nutrasweet. I also am sensitive to Splenda. Try water with a squeeze of lemon. It's what your body really needs and craves and you can't go wrong. |
I don't like the taste of water either. I find if it is really cold then I like it or sparkel water. I suffer from migrains and too much of anything can set it off. You have to be moderate with what you eat. Regardless of what it is. Things to watch out for are , cheese, yeast, Rum vodka Red wine Even some candies give me headakes and some fuit as well. If i eat cheese to day I don't have any tomorrow or for the rest of the week. Then I don't get a migrain, |
YES, what about Propel, i actually like water, along with lemonade, propel , and the occasional soda. |
Aspartame gives me abdominal pain near my gall bladder or liver. I had severe pain and went to many Doctors, had all kinds of test. Never could find anything wrong but I noticed every time I decided to go on a diet and started back on diet soda my pain would return. The stuff scares me..I have heard so much negative stuff about it and a few back I started hearing about an increase in First Gulf War vets coming down with ALS (Lou Gehrigs) READ THIS! if it doesn't scare you off the stuff nothing will. http://www.wnho.net/aspartameandgulfwar.htm When my son went to Iraq I warned him to stay away from the sugar free drinks. |
If you insist on using this product ..keep it out of the heat! |
