So where do I begin?....:rolleyes::D

We stayed at The Grand Wailea Resort (Waldorf Astoria) in Maui for 10 days. It was such a beautiful place!

We did go on some excursions: kayaking and snorkeling in Makena; horse back riding on a two hour trail (amazing views of the Pacific!); and a helicopter tour of the entire island (oh, the waterfalls! :thumbup:)

Everything was unbelievably beautiful-the hotel, the grounds, the beach, the water, the weather....I could go on...:rolleyes:

We got to go to this cool town (very touristy, I must add), Lahaina, where I got to do lots of shopping! ;) and we had dinner at a restaurant overlooking the Pacific ocean!

Well, I put together a slide show with most of the pics (there were soo many)...Take a moment and watch it!

Sigh...me and hubby love Hawaii - we've been to Maui and the Big Island. We really miss the water...

Your photos are really nice and made me miss my favorite place in the world even more (the first year in 10 years we have not gone)!!!!! Lahaina is such a cool town - we hang there every single day!!!!!!!

Was the ranch you went to on the West side of Maui over near Kapaalua? Looks like an awesome trip!!!!! Thanks for sharing!

Gorgeous! Was it hard to come back? Last time I was in Maui we stayed at the Fairmont Kea Lani, and ate at the Grand Wailea one day. Such a beautiful hotel. If you go back, I definitely recommend the Kea Lani ... the customer service is unbelievable and the property is to die for. Now I want to go on vacation too ... ;)

Great pictures. I am so jealous!. Hubby has no desire to got to Hawaii. sigh, guess I'll have to enjoy the sunsets all by myself if I ever get to go. Thanks for sharing. Also, you look great.

Lahaina was awesome. I think you were the one who told me about it.. so thank you Jodie! :)

The ranch was in west Maui. I believe it was near Kapaalua. "Mendes Ranch"

We had a blast! You have to go!

I have to thank my mom for my body--she's so little. so my secrets are good genes and sushi. :thumbup::rolleyes:

It was unbelievably hard to leave..but I did miss my daughter and Daisy.. I was happy not to change diapers and pick up poop for 10 days!:eek::D

We met a couple on the beach who was staying at the Fairmont.. sounds nice too!

that's a shame that he has no desire to go there. It is by far one of the most beautiful place in the world! This was our first time there and we will definitely be going back!

Maybe the next time we go, you can join us! :D :thumbup:

Oh man!! I love sushi too!!!! It is my #1 favorite food!!! My mom used to be skinny too (when she was my age..ahh! not fair) but after she gave birth, she has that "baby fat" since. But guess what? My sister is sooo skinny and she eats a lot!! She got the good genes and I didnt!! AHH!!

OMG!!!! That resort is beautiful! And the water is beautiful and you are gorgeous too! So not fair! Im so jealous, lol. I need to finish losing this baby weight and go on a vacation to a beach soon. I really want to go to Hawaii someday, Im so glad you posted pics. It really looks like it was an awesome vacation

thank you! and I know, we took so many it was hard to decide which to include in the slide show. Had I had included all, we would all sit here for an hour watching it. lol

Thanks! The horse ride was amazing. The views were so picturesque!

I have a Canon Powershot SD 900 (IXUS 900) with 10 mega pixels. It's very small. Hubs got it for me last fall. I love it.

Oh, did I mention that it's titanium? :D :thumbup::thumbup:

I feel you there, Shana. We took a short (4nights) vaca away from baby when she was 11 months for the 1st time. We went to the Dominican Republic. That was great too. No diapers for a few days! :thumbup:

I hope you can get away to hawaii one day! :)

Nice pics! That last one looks like the one you get when you attend a luau...I hope you got to do that as those are really fun! My husband and I honeymooned there in 2001 and stayed at the Ritz Carlton on Maui. Such a wonderful island to go to. Sounds like you had lots of fun!
