Done, bless her and her family |
OMG! She is growing into such a doll baby. Dena you have got to be one of the kindest people around. God bless you for all you do. |

I lit a candle for Pipi and then cheered myself up by watching Emma tear around her "condo" terrorizing her stuffed animals. She seemed to give each one equal time. She is so adorable and growing so fast !! Dena, you have certainly done wonders with her. |

Love the video! Nice song ;) Very fitting. I have been hearing it on my radio station here a lot lately. You are doing such a great and wonderful job with her! |
Thank you all so much for keeping the candles burning for little Pipi and her Mom, Kim.... <<big hugs>> Now....... I've been thinking.......... Emma still doesn't have a middle name.... I had initially thought maybe I would leave that for her forever family to decide, in hopes that they would keep "Emma" as her given name.... But........ I don't know........... I think it just seems fitting that our angel (since the name Emma, means "whole" / "complete") - be complete in every way.... starting with her name. :) So.... what do you think? Middle name suggestions for baby girl? |
I'm sorry to hear about Pipi. Sending many, many hugs to Kim and her family. As for our sweet Emma, how about Artemis after the goddess of strength. If anything, Emma has proven what strength she has! I'll try to think of more... |

I'm so sorry to hear about Pipi, my thoughts and prayers are with the family, they must be so very devistated. Hmm, I'll have to think on a middle name that would be fitting for Miss Punkin Butt, it's gotta be special that's for sure. |

I like Emma Angelina (angel), Emma Angelique (angel), Emma Ruby (jewel) or Emma Amelia (Millie for short--means strength, determination). Hope that helps. I will keep thinking. |
What's Yours? Dena, would your middle name fit with Emma, or a name related to your son's dog who died the day you found Emma? Emma Kaye sounds pretty good too...IMO. :aimeeyork |

Well, nothing seems to fit this lil' girl just right.... I suppose we'll come up with something eventually. In the mean time, we'll be leaving soon for Emma's check up with the surgeon... just a routine check.... I'll let you all know how it goes when we return. :) |
Good luck!!! Will check later for an update |
Well I love the name Emma Grace |

Back home and baby is playing in her crib... she loves goin' out! All is well.... the visit was really unremarkable... keep her on the same routine as normal.... heart and lungs sound great... fontanel is a bit smaller than the last visit... she's gaining just fine and developing normally. Next check up will be the beginning of her vaccination series and we'll likely be able to start her on some pureed puppy food via a larger tube. (right now she's on a 5 french... for the puppy food, she'll have to be able to tolerate an 8 french tube.) I'm to give her first dose of pyrantel in the morning to deworm her, just in case anything was transferred in utero. Doc says I can start with puppy vitamin drops any time I feel that Emma is lacking in nutritional aspects. I have already starting giving her the tiniest bit of Missing Link supplement in her yogurt a week or so ago, which Doc says is fine. Emma is tolerating it well and her loose stools have greatly improved since taking the ML, so I doubt she'll have the need to take any other supplement at this point. She's doing very well and I am pleased with her progress thus far. :) |

YAY!!! Sounds great, Dena. You are doing a great job. I read what you do to feed Emma and I am just amazed. I am not sure I would know what to do. I just love watching Emma on the webcam when she is playing with her toys. She is just a cutie!! I am still trying to come up with some more middle name suggestions! |
Oops... forgot to mention.... The only new "talk" this time, was of the possibility that Emma will have to have "doggie braces" as a young adult.... but that's pretty far in the future so I'm told not to worry about that now.... |

I'm so sorry about Pipi. Such a precious little baby. Heavenly Peace to you, Little One. Another candle has been lit. Emma is amazing, as you are, Dena, which leads to Amazing Grace which leads to Grace as Emma's middle name. It was the first one that popped into my head. As I was reading, I saw that Nikkinack picked the same name:). She has "graced" this forum with a sweet little personality that can't be matched. She has "graced" YT with a story of spunk and fight that has drawn so many members into her own fan club. She has just plain touched sooo many lives. So, Emma Grace is my vote:thumbup:, along with Nikkinack:). |

The girls got real nosey this afternoon.... here are a few photos... forgive the "lack of fancy" - - I'm afraid they've been kind of neglected lately in our regular grooming routine. The first.... Gracie, Kissy and Amelia take a peek.... In the second and third photos, Kissy looks a bit shocked by the baby.... this is the first time she's really SEEN her up close... though she's known all along that "SOMETHING" has been "among us".... hahaha... (Kissy may be having a lil' baby or two of her own in a couple of months! ;) ) Gracie's never REALLY seen a baby, (she couldn't have cared less when little Jethro was born 4 and a half months ago) but she just wants to kissssssssssss Emma!! :) |

How about Emma Hope since we've all been hoping and praying for her? |
My granddtr is Ellie Grace. Originally, her first name was going to be Grace but her friend used the name first so she went with EG. Sidenote-Grace's sister is Emma:). Whatever you pick will be perfect. |
Glad to hear you guys had a good dogter appt! Miss Emma is getting soooo big! The pics of her and the others were too cute! As for the middle name...I think you should start a poll thread for it?? haha I like Emma Kaye, Emma Grace and Emma Hope I think those all sound very fitting for her! |

I love the name Emma Grace also like someone else (or two other posters) mentioned. I don't know why I wasn't thinking of that name because I love the song Amazing Grace and in fact almost named Lulu, Gracie or Maisie Grace. |
