BANNED FOR NOT MAILING PRODUCTS PURCHASED | If I was going to be divorced... It would have been yesterday! My husband... don't ya love when someone starts a sentence out like this? My dear sweet husband, ohh how I could have killed him yesterday! I had oral surgery yesterday and I'm in bed all drugged up and in walks my husband and he tells me that the scooter he just bought, he gives to his brother for $500, no money down and no contract... His brother who has no job! he says, well now he can find a job... I said... what if he wrecks it? what if someone steals it? we are out $500! The $500 that is suppose to pay for the transmission for our van! I'm honestly sinking into depression and I have no idea what to do about it! I'm literally in tears. I thought July was bad but it looks like August is kicking me in the a$$ just as bad. Tell me why men do the things they do?? |

| I think they have this club or something......all men act like this at times! So frustrating, you want to strangle them..... Anyway, I sure hope you feel better very soon! (Take those pain killers and hide somewhere that no one can bother you and try and relax.) Good thoughts your way!! Tonia

| I'm sorry that you are having a rough time right now. All I can say is that i hav been through ome of the worst, and life does get better. Remember it's always the darest before the dawn. But I know when you are going through it, it's hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. |

BANNED FOR NOT MAILING PRODUCTS PURCHASED | If we did not have to pay for this transmission, I would have no problem helping him out, but his brother knows good and well the situation we are in, so shame on him for even taking it in the 1st place. Hubby knows I'm still pissed at him lol |

| Hey at least your husband doesn't want a $5000 Segway We did a "Segway Tour" on vacation in July and it was tons of fun but I think I've heard the word "Segway" at least twice a day since then........

I didn't even know what that was until your post. I googled it and now I am 'up' on them. Thank you. I don't want one. | |

| Men...ask him how the $500.00 is to pay for the transmission now? The bad thing with family sometimes is they never end up paying and they take advantage of us when we are trying to help. Sorry you're having such a time. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Keep your chin up girl!!! |

| Generally when hubbys have hairbrained ideas such as that, a swift kick to the rear usually works best. That's really generous for him to try to help him out and everything, but you can't help out someone else if it's going to put YOU in a bad position. My hubby used to try to "help" out his family members in a similar fashion all of the time...can't tell you how many arguments we had back in the day about those types of issues. You can't stick your own neck out trying to help someone who isn't going to help themselves. It got so bad that his sis would have his neice and nephew calling him begging him to buy them shoes, then his sis who's never had a job would blow her $$ on cigarettes and bingo! The straw that broke the camel's back was when he loaned his parents several hundred dollars to fix their roof and a few weeks later they took a trip to a casinio for the weekend. Thank goodness he finally saw the light! I definately feel your pain (both the husband and the oral surgery). Kick his butt and send him out to get you some ice cream! |
